ImPressed Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Chubbuck

We are still new to Pocatello and I have not had a chance to try all the coffee shops yet, but I am slowly trying them all! Today I tried Impressed Coffee Co. I ordered a caramel macchiato because generally when I’m trying a new place for the first time I go with this drink to try the espresso because (caramel macchiato) is generally the same everywhere. But my drink was surprisingly bitter... it has no sweetness to It at all, and it also had a very strong aftertaste…I don’t know if it was the syrup or the espresso beans themselves. But it was definitely a bit sad… I know that I can’t judge a book by it’s cover. So I tried it… but was disappointed.

I am not leaving “bad” review just an honest one! I don’t know if it just happened to be this particular drink, but I would be willing to go back a second time. If someone could answer with a response to this review suggesting some House favorites perhaps??? Thank you I’m willing to try again! Again, not a bad review just an honest...

I came through drive thru super excited made sure to go over order like three times. I ordered waffles with it like three orders no offer of napkins had to ask for a bag to put them in. Got to my store and we noticed something wasn't on it that I made sure to mention it to her a couple times. Also noticed no chocolate inside wasn't like first time ordering it or the coffee was kind of lacking coffee taste kind of watery. Super disappointed about that as well. The brownies on my last visit were super hard and cold too 😕. I called the girl was kinda rude didn't seem she cared and said that's it and she couldn't do anything cause mgr wasn't there and would pass my information along but didn't seem like she really cared. Ik it shouldn't seem like a big deal but we spent some good money there and them just opening up and acting that way on the phone already didn't bring good vibes for wanting to come back. I truly wanted to be “impressed” but they just aren’t there yet. Being a new business I decided to give them several try's before ultimately realizing Java Express is worth the extra drive time. They should be using dome lids when you get whip (adds more whip) and it’s a bummer they only offer up to 24oz for iced lattes. Most of my days call for a 32oz which I can get at Java. The coffee blend seems to be quite a bit off as well. I get a super strong coffee taste and can’t really taste the caramel even tho i order 2x the caramel flavor and add caramel drizzle. I’ve been here about 5 times now and it never seems to be quick. Usually spend about 15-25 minutes waiting to order when there is only one car ahead of me. Staff is alway friendly which is why I gave any stars at all. But please stop ASKING for a tip. I always tip but it’s uncomfortable when you ASK about a tip.
