Not that leaving a bad review seems to matter much based on the others but here it goes. I was in this location on July 3rd. Had been shopping in the area and my daughter loves their mini corn dogs. We asked if we could use their restroom before we ordered. Eduardo helped us and unlocked the bathroom around back for us. After finishing up I flushed and that’s when water came shooting out all over the place. My daughter and I stepped back, my 5 year old is now sobbing as it scared her and my Birkenstock’s are soaked in toilet water. The bathroom floor was flooded with about an inch of water covering the whole floor to give an idea of how much water we’re talking about. I ushered my crying child out and back into the restaurant. While ordering my daughters lunch I explained to Eduardo what had just happened and asked if the manager was available to discuss having my shoes replaced as I will not want to wear them again now they have been soaked in water from a fast food restaurant bathroom. He was polite but seemed unsure of what to do (and I can’t blame him it’s definitely a unique situation). He explained the manager wasn’t there so I asked for her contact information or an email address and he shrugged indicating he either didn’t have it or couldn’t share it. I asked if I could leave Maricalla (not sure if I’m spelling that correctly) a note with my contact info and have her get back to me and he agreed. He also made the comment, “I thought they fixed that bathroom but I guess they didn’t” indicating they were aware of the plumbing issues but it’d gone unchecked. After not hearing back for a few days I found the number to the store online (it’s not printed on the receipt) and called a couple times but no answer so I found the 800 number to corporate and left a voicemail. After a few more days of no response a submitted a feedback comment through the corporate website. On July 11 Maricalla called me back and informed me that the owners are saying they have no way to reimburse me for my shoes. I don’t need a check or money I want them replaced. They can be ordered online and shipped to my house, save the receipt as a business expense. I hardly ever buy anything name brand but I wear a shoe size that’s hard to find and I justified buying these shoes for myself knowing they were good quality that would last a long time. Now I’ve barely broken them in and they’re covered in toilet water. This is what insurance is for assuming they have it. Now for the food… ordered a chocolate sundae which consisted of something resembling ice cream in a plastic container with chocolate syrup on top. No whip cream no nuts and no cherry on top. All of this for $4.99. Also ordered a chili dog with onions. The bun was shriveled and looked like the air was taken out of it. The wiener had an indescribable taste not in good way, and the chili tasted like it came from a can. This ugly looking hot dog was 3.39. This franchise is far removed from the Der days. She threw my change at me and served some disgusting food.. I asked for a Oreo blast and she gave me an Oreo blast straight out of the toilet. This lady didn’t even say how much it was , she just snatched my money. She had a mean face on her . Its really not my fault that she’s 40+ and still working at wienerschnitzel.
