We had one night in the Beacon area so we tried checking out as many local spots as we could, this led us to getting to Pillow & Oats with only about 40-45 minutes before they closed. (We try not to go in anywhere within an hour of them closing). The girl working the bar was super nice and didn’t make us feel rushed at all, she even gave us some other suggestions for the rest of our trip around the Hudson Valley area and we had some nice conversation. I wish I got her name so she got the recognition she deserves for being awesome! We each just ordered a pint and both of our beers were quite good. The bartender working was super nice to us, he accidentally spilled a drink on my partner and was so hospitable towards us and apologetic. Mistakes happen and there’s no hard feelings! He comped our tab and gave my partner a shirt. Wish I got his name or had cash to leave him a tip, but hopefully he reads this and knows we’re not upset and he was so nice about it.
