Rock Burger — Restaurant in City of Niagara Falls

I've been to hundreds of hamburger restaurants around the world and this restaurant probably breaks the top 5. This place has hamburgers ranging from your regular garden variety toppings like lettuce or tomato to bizarre concepts like a hamburger stuffed with oreo that still manages to be amazing.

I live in Toronto and I come to Buffalo partly so I can eat at this place (even though it's in Niagara Falls). To summarize Rock Burger, this is an American burger place. It was clearly created by someone who doesn't seem to care about what our society deems appropriate burger toppings and because of it it's highly innovative.

The main two differentiators of this burger place are that they have "stuffed burgers" and crazy toppings. A stuffed burger, is to put it simply, a burger with things stuffed inside of it. For example, you could get chicken fingers in your burger, cheese in your burger, etc etc. This is a fun gimmick that definitely changes the burger eating experience for the better, and they let you choose pretty much any topping to put in the burger. I've never been to a place that does that given that they have to make the patties on demand, but the effect really pays off when the taste of the toppings are distributed through the burger instead of on top of it.

The other thing this burger place does is have a bunch of burgers the creator probably invented while stoned on the Canadian side of the border. For example, the Oreo burger in the photo. It has chocolate inside the burger and whipped cream and bacon on top. It's hard to criticize this incredibly stupid idea for a burger though, because it also tastes amazing.

You might feel like an idiot for ordering an Oreo burger and you can always get a regular stuffed burger if you're not feeling adventurous, but if you don't really care what others think of you, get a hamburger with fruity pebbles or something on it. You'll love it, because whoever designed this restaurant understands how flavours actually combine and doesn't really care about how people think flavours...

My husband and I are from Syracuse and went to Niagara Falls for our honeymoon. We aren’t very needy people and just love enjoying things we love together. And we both love burgers so when we heard about here we decided to go for dinner one night. When I tell you this place was FANTASTIC, I can’t stress that enough. Jeff was at the front counter when we walked in and even tho he was taking someone’s order and the phone was ringing he immediately greeted us. He was so welcoming. After taking care of the phone call and the people ordering out he asked if we were gonna done in and told us to grab a seat and take a look at the menu. So we did. In the 10 minutes it took us to decide what we want I watched this man take 2 more phone calls, 3 walk in orders, and cash 2 people out. All with a smile and humor. And Yet he continued to let us know we could order whenever we were ready. We placed our order, he brought us our sodas and we waited. While we waited he talked to us and made us feel recognized. He even heard something my husband was watching at that moment and started talking to him about it immediately. We got out food shortly after and it was AMAZING. Portion sizes where perfect. The burger was OUTSTANDING. And the tater tots and fries were crispy without being greasy. The owner walked in while we were eating and immediately greeted and checked on all customers in the place. I called a head yesterday 9/22/19 around 4 I was told 430pm our food qould be ready I only order 3 burgers and two fries. One was the kids burger. My husband and our 1 yr old son drove from tonawanda to get onky these burgers because I'm expecting my second and was craving only these burgers!! On the phone the lady was rude horrible costumer service ! We arrived and none of the workers recall my order. The lady with black hair tried to sell me someone elses order and to top it off I was eventually told that my order was JUST put on the grill. The owner had pulled into thw parking lot at that point I was tempted to go in and say something while i was outside waiting for my food.. The lady walked our food out to the car I know she only did that because she didn't want me to say anything to the owner about our horrible service. When we got home our food was WRONG.. And the fries wete definitely fried in old oil.. I will not be back ever. Its sad because the other 2 times I came here it was so good. Well the two men in the back and the older women didnt care. I work in costumer service and this is not how someone paying YOU for your product .. What a shame .

Edit: within an hour the owner of this establishment contacted me and apologized for my bad experience, we talked about it and he offered to make it right and i really appreciate it!
