Title: A Savory Delight at Swift Current Eatery
Nestled in the heart of Niagara Falls a localy owned Swift Current lies a culinary gem that promises to tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving more: Swift Current Eatery. My recent dining experience at this cozy establishment left me thoroughly impressed, prompting me to share my thoughts with fellow food enthusiasts.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the steak and cheese sandwich—a delectable creation that seamlessly combined succulent steak, gooey cheese, and fresh bread to create a symphony of flavors. Each bite was a culinary delight, showcasing the chef's expertise and commitment to quality ingredients.
Equally impressive was the Ruben sandwich, a classic favorite that exceeded my expectations. From the perfectly toasted bread to the generous layers of corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing, every element harmonized flawlessly, resulting in a sandwich that was as satisfying as it was flavorful.
Beyond the outstanding food, what truly sets Swift Current Eatery apart is the warmth and hospitality of its owner, Anna. Despite a minor oversight by the cashier, Anna went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Her gesture of offering a complimentary bottle of water exemplifies the genuine care and attention to detail that defines this establishment.
In addition to its culinary delights and exemplary service, Swift Current Eatery boasts a welcoming ambiance that invites guests to relax and savor every moment. This past Sunday Morning, my BF and I went for a bike ride around the falls(which we do often). Swift Current was not open as this was approx 9:30 am and they don’t open until 11 or else we probably would have ordered from them. So we got Starbucks(which is right next door) and sat at an open table, on a public city side walk, or so we thought. Half way through our meal, a women walks up and very rudely told us we had to move because they are not Starbucks, she didn’t ask nicely, she didn’t offer to allow us to finish our food. She told us we had to move and pointed to a barrier that kind of partitioned this area of the side walk off and said “I don’t know why this was open” - we politely apologize and pick up our food and drinks and belongings and move outside the partition, she then comes back out and bangs the partition close in a very over the top manner and shakes it which causes my bike to fall over. I am very Disappointed that this is the hospitality people who come from all over the world receive in my hometown. There was no need for this women to be as nasty as she was, the street was dead, there were probably 15 other empty tables and they were NOT even OPEN. I can understand if they needed the tables. Or She could have just asked us kindly to clean up after ourselves. If that’s how you treat people, I can’t imagine what you do to their food when no...

Then the one worker says, oh sorry, we're out of thawed pizza dough...they had none available at 5 on a Saturday. We ended up having to get sandwiches and the salad and drinks and had to spend $89 not including tip! Sandwiches definitely weren't worth the price at $14+. My turkey was a skinny panini with barely anything on it. One of my daughter's got a Reuben and it was awful. No taste...corned beef was cut very thick and had no flavor. Sauerkraut has no flavor. And no sauce? Who doesn't put Thousand Island dressing on a Reuben?!?! The salad was $14 and it was just ok. Ended up only eating 1/2. The potato chips that came with the sandwiches in the box were stale. The other two sandwiches we purchased were just ok....cuban and a...
