Finally, Syracuse has a legit wine bar! We are obsessed. Nobody's fills a void that this city has been missing, and it does so wonderfully.
The wine list is clearly very thoughtfully procured, both the BTG and the extensive bottle list, with everything from California Chardonnay to a 1961 Barbaresco poured by the ounce to wines from around the world (Croatia, Slovenia among many other more unexpected/uncommon offerings). I think one of the things I appreciate most is that Nobody's by-the-glass list offers half-glass pours without any markup, enabling customers to try more than just one or two, perfect for those who like exploring wine as we do!
The owner, Bob, has been behind the bar nearly nonstop since opening, and it's been a pleasure to be able to chat and talk wine with him. His depth of knowledge is extremely impressive and appreciated, and clearly comes through in the selections he chooses to showcase.
The staff as a whole are quite knowledgeable and have been friendly and attentive. We love the ambiance of the space as well, and actually appreciate the brighter color scheme while it still fosters a calmness and relaxation that is perfect for hanging out with friends or a loved one and enjoying an interesting glass or bottle together.
Lastly, the charcuterie/cheese boxes and bread from local favorites The Curd Nerd and Pastabilities, respectively, are a great compliment and addition to the menu. Nobody's also has an excellent boutique spirit and craft beer and cider list (can/bottles only, no draft) that any craft beverage lover can appreciate.
Cannot recommend Nobody's highly enough, and we will certainly continue to be frequent and...
Read moreSo excited about this new wine bar. The atmosphere is relaxing and chill but also very elegant so you can dress up or dress down. the location is perfectly nestled downtown right by all the restaurants. They even let your bring your own food in! They have a parking lot on the side of the building and if you can’t get a spot in the lot there is ample street parking all around and paid parking lots. The prices vary anywhere from $10 to $100 dollars a glass and they have an incredibly knowledgeable staff and sommelier to ensure you find the perfect glass of wine (or bottle). They also offer beer and ciders if wine isn’t your thing, but I truly think everyone will be able to find at least one wine they love with the staffs amazing ability to listen to what you like and find the perfect wine for you. Definitely my...
