Heinous experience with the store. The manager having a attitude, threatens customers instead of taking care of a problem, and expects the customer to pay full price for the visit.
Sad, Dennys lost a valued member.
Response from the company after a BBB report. It appears the company prefers to cover their employees' disrespectful ways of treating people, including veterans.
While we acknowledge the one steak dinner was not prepared adequately, we also want to fill in the rest of the story. First of all, note that the image of the check which the guest shared does indeed indicate that the Manager removed the steak dinner which was prepared incorrectly.
However, there are numerous inaccuracies and exclusions from the guest account of this experience.
The guest did not ask the Manager to take care of the entire bill; he insisted that she take care of the whole bill. When she informed him this was not possible, he became loud and vulgar in his interaction with her. There were several guests in the restaurant at the time of this event that came to the Manager and offered to write a statement chronicling the inappropriate guest behavior.
Despite being told he would have to pay for the meals which were not taken off the bill, the guest then attempted to walk out without paying his bill. When the Manager stopped him and asked him to pay the bill, he once again got loud, vulgar, and threatening. The Manager had to tell him she would have to call the police if he did not pay his bill at which he responded by throwing his credit card at her in the lobby of the restaurant.
The guest has sent multiple complaints to Denny’s Corporate, the Better Business Bureau, Facebook, and Google in which he has used various names in placing these complaints. One of the names these complaints were filed under means “Death Wish.” Another of the names he has posted under means “Angel of Destruction.”
Denny’s has two expectations of all of our guests; to pay their bill and act civil and this guest violated or attempted to breach both of these expectations. Therefore we will not be refunding the remaining bill nor will we be firing our Manager.
According to Denny’s it is ok if their manager disrespects veterans. It’s apparently always the customer’s fault for any issues that arises from their employees. My mother have called and left a complaint with them about the entire situation. Making the entire case against them a total lie. Her statement was the same as mine. However, her statement was more detailed compared to mine.

Intro: we got in quick, greeted quick, and got the exact table we wanted. Close to the bathroom since I really had to go, towards the back, and calmer. Waitress came by very quickly, got our drink orders, came back 2 mins later when we were ready, got our order very clearly and was nice to deal with. Came back 2 minutes later with my salad then came back 4 minutes later with my entree and a minute later with mom's salad.
Order 1: (mine): Custom skillet:6.59USD Bacon, Ham, Egg, Two kinds of Cheese, Onions, and a little gravy. Very good consistancy and taste yummy! I loved it. No complaints at all! Did I mention HAM AND BACON!!!! hell yeah! Both had great consistency.
Order 2: (mom's):some kinda chicken salad that was around 8 bucks. She was pleased. It was a huge salad and she had no complaints.
Service: Our waitress was extremely prompt and friendly. She kept my coffe really full and was very polite. She had good vibes and I liked being around her. Too bad I forget her name I think it was Nicole or Megan... She did a good job.
