Damaged vehicle, rude & sarcastic- CUSTOMER BEWARE Dropped my truck off (Wyatt Johnson GMC Clarksville) JUST to have my bumper replaced. Ordered a BRAND NEW bumper shipped to their door to be painted & replaced. Picked my truck up 5 days later, SCRATCHES ON EVERY PANEL OF MY TRUCK!.. wheels, hood, roof, bumpers (INCLUDING THE NEW BUMPER THEY JUST PAINTED), doors etc. Showed their service guy & took pics before even leaving their lot. I still have the text where I told the service guy who scheduled my truck- DONT WASH IT. I take immaculate care of my truck & w/its ceramic coating it requires compatible soap. Supposedly the body shop they subcontracted to (Price's Collision) washed it. I spoke to the GM via phone, had my detailer write an estimate to fix all scratches & took my truck back to dealer to show damage. Met w/Service manager David, GM James Conley, & Owner Sidney Johnson. All these men did was try to bully me. FYI 3 grown men vs 1 young lady (me). They gave me the car salesman spiel of "oh, I've been doing this for 20 yrs & there's nothing here that won't buff out", despite that my detailers quote said some scratches were so deep that they wouldn't buff out. They argued that since my truck had been on the road for 1yr there's no way for them to know the scratches weren't there before. Funny because- EVEN THE NEW BUMPER was scratched just after being painted. They then tried to guilt trip me by saying "well you have to understand we're frustrated. We aren't the one who damaged your truck but yet we're going to write you a check to fix it & make it right". When asked what they're going to do if the scratches don't buff out the owner told me he didn't have time to talk "what ifs" & we could talk "what ifs" all day. When I asked again the owner raised his voice & said "what do you want me to do be an open checkbook to you!? what do you want me to do, stand here & write you a check for 5 grand!? What am I supposed to deal w/the damages of your truck for the rest of the time you own it!?" Shortly after he said he needed to speak w/my detailer & that I would have to schedule it. I asked if they were going to provide me w/a rental car since I would be w/out a truck for the 5 days while it was buffed, wet sanded, & re-ceramic coated on any panel that they buff through the coating. The owner told me he wouldn't provide me a rental bc he didn't want me in one of their cars. I pointed out that my truck was damaged in THEIR care, had to be fixed due to what THEY did & he still refused. Until I asked if it would be better if I contact an attorney & the BBB they wouldn't agree to a rental. Since my detailer was backed up the owner asked me to find a detailer that could do it ASAP. Found a detailer the next day- $400 cheaper & could get me in sooner. Called the dealer & went full circle again. Now they only wanted to fix it if I used their guy. I asked for info on who this guy is & they told me to just “trust them”. I asked if the guy does ceramic coating & they didn't even know! They were going to take my truck to "their guy" & didn't even know if he did the same work! I told them I wanted to look this guy up since last time they sent my truck to "their people" we ended up in the situation we're in now. After continuing to ask who "this guy" was, the owner (Sidney) got on the phone practically yelling, said "fine, we'll do it your way", refused to give me a rental, said he would just throw $100 in to make me get my own & added "why don't I just throw 50 bucks in there for lunch so you can buy yourself lunch too!?" Check was written, whole amount went to detailer, didn't cover the amount of the rental, he didn't throw "50 bucks for lunch" so he was being sarcastic, & my WHOLE TRUCK had to be buffed, spots wet sanded, & fully re-ceramic coated. All scratches DIDNT buff out & my truck STILL isn't back to the condition it was when I dropped it off JUST TO HAVE MY BUMPER REPLACED. Dealer's done nothing to fix the issue of my truck STILL being scratched. Guess they think its ok to take advantage of...
Read moreI wanted to wait an entire month before posting a review so that I could get an honest impression of our new rides.
My husband and I recently made two trades at Wyatt Johnson GMC. We previously purchased vehicles through this dealer and have felt that they have gone above and beyond every time since.
Ronnie and Sean were wonderful to work with and made sure we left the dealership with a deal that worked for us and our family. Both guys have always made sure to strike up a conversation when we come in for service or parts. They remember who we are as individuals, not just customers. I haven't seen that anywhere else from a management role. That made a huge impact on us.
We worked with Jason Thorne for our two trades/purchases last month. Even though we test drove tons of vehicles and wore out the soles on his shoes walking the lot and working numbers, he was so professional and polite throughout the whole process. Jason ensured that we got into two SUVs that fit our family needs and didn't push us into vehicles we didn't need to be in. Since we bought, he's checked in on us and has always made sure to say hello when we stop in. We could not be happier with the customer service we received from Jason, and I can confidently say he has adopted two new customers as long as we're in the area; maybe life!
Misty has taken care of four car purchases for my husband and me and let me tell you- that woman is a wolf. She worked numbers, percentages and packages flawlessly. I am beyond thankful to have had her for all of our deals. She is top notch!
Whenever we come in for service, we make sure we see Mike Brown. I love seeing him and appreciate his positive attitude. He is always so polite and ensures that we are taken care of promptly. When I come in, I truly feel like I am seeing extended family, and I look forward to catching up. I can't wait to show him our new rides.
Lastly, the parts department. Those guys are amazing. They have helped me with so many purchases and are always prompt and courteous. They have placed my car mats in for me without asking and have worked many quotes up for me without an issue.
Thank you to the entire team at Wyatt Johnson. From the sales department, to parts, finance, service, and management, you guys are amazing. As I have told you each already, there's truly no where else I will shop for any of my automotive needs or care. Although some of these things seem small, and at the end of the day a dealership "wheels and deals", these guys (and ladies) do it best.
I HIGHLY recommend Wyatt...
Read moreSchedule service because of a software update about 2 weeks ago. I also let them know about a restraintment service system light coming on. I bring it in at schedule time. Mentioned also another issue with windshield wiper fluid light coming on. I've used about 4 bottles since i got the truck in June. They were going to check what was covered under warranty. Ask them bout how long and they said a couple of hours. Bout 3 hrs later we had to call. Spoke to an associate. They let us know that software update was done. Then she proceeded to inform us on the other 2. Windshield fluid was covered but has a deductible of $100. They said it was the tank. My husband told them he didn't think so because he saw it all leak out from the back of the truck. Then the restrainment light was not covered and it would be 1000.00 to fix. Some kind of sensor was not working. I couldn't believe it. She told us we had to pay for the diagnostic they did on it. We told Then at the moment we could get it done for certain reasons. Went in to pay. It was 226.00!! I asked why did they not call us to let us know that this was not under warranty and if we wanted them to proceed to run the diagnostic test. At least a round bout price. When they looked it up and saw it wasn't covered they could have gave us the option to decline!! It has taken me 2 days to calm down and able to write this review. This was very poor service on their part. Also, of course looking up this issue with the restrained system. It has not been resolved and there are other GMC trucks that they have not been able to fix and even mentioning the lemon law. Why did they want to charge us for something that does not have a solution. Maybe to them 226.00 is not a lot for them but it is for us and on top of being closer to the holidays. I drop off the truck at 1:30 and picked up at 5p. My husband and i are so frustrated. We just got this truck in June of this year. I know it was used. But it was certified used. This couldn't have just started when we bought it. Was it not checked...
