Horrible Customer Service. Store Manager James Was Not Helpful. James Acted Like He Could Care Less If He Had My Business Or Not.

This was the first time I’ve been to this location of Jersey Mike’s, 2560B McMullen Booth Rd, Clearwater, FL 33761. I told the man behind the counter I have a birthday coupon for a Free Regular Sub & Fountain Drink. I said I would like to pay the difference and get a full sub. The man said he cannot do that. I ask why and he said he had no way to ring it up. I asked for the manager and he said I am the manager James. I told James I’ve been getting birthday subs at Jersey Mike’s for many years and I’ve ALWAYS been able to pay the difference to upgrade. James said he cannot do that so I told him I’m going to contact corporate.

I turn around and walked out the door. I then drove to another Jersey Mike’s. I told them I have a birthday coupon for a Free Regular Sub & Fountain Drink. I said I want to upgrade and pay the difference. This location gladly did that, took my money, and thanked me for my business. They also said Hope You Have A Happy Birthday, something James never did.

Who turns down cash money if someone wants to buy something with the economy like it is? I guess JAMES does at THIS Jersey Mike’s!! James, I WILL NEVER RETURN TO...

I have been unable to contact corporate or Mr. Daniel (the store owner), so I'm starting here to express my concerns. The store is extremely unprofessional and disorganized. It desperately needs to be shut down, and corporate should consider hiring a completely new staff, including a new store owner.

The attitudes of the employees are appalling, and the way the managers conduct themselves is unacceptable. It's disheartening to see people come to work to support their families, only to be met with hostility when they don't align with the internal conflicts. The way the managers communicate with others is simply rude. Overall, the store and its staff leave much to be desired.

How can you fire someone for being sick? With a contagious illness someone with a legit doctors note. So what y'all saying is you want someone to make sandwiches breathing over people food while being sick? This store is disgraceful. I watch my fiancee come to work and buss his behind he was there on time before time everytime! Lets not start with the drama he asked not to be in it and he asked for respect. I usually don't leave reviews but OMG this location on Mcmullen booth has got to be the dirtiest place I have eaten in a long time. After ordering, my husband and I sat down to eat. I manage a fast food place also, so I like to just look around. Everything I looked at was either dirty, rusted, or old. The vents were rusty, the ceiling tiles yellow, the vents, well you would think they were covered in fur, it had soo much dust built up. The 3 young boys were no where to be seen after they helped the last customer, so the dining room was never touched up after people left. My husband made the mistake of taking a soda nozzle off and immediately threw his drink away. Said it looks like it has never been cleaned. I can only imagine what the BOH looks like. Will never step foot in this location again until they start...
