I randomly called this place due to Google. Little Italy has a great reputation, I needed a cake near my downtown Cleve job for my coworker/bestie, Chelsea and ended up with a winder cassata cake. Was ordered and picked up within a couple hours. (I believe this cake was the LAST and was available) I was working on the fly! Lol However, this cake was perfect. She loved it! I used to give myself extra time to stop in Cleveland's Little Italy before going to Playhouse Square just to grab some to take home. I still stop if I am in Little Italy to get one for dessert, but now that there is a location at Playhouse Square it is post-show tradition to get some to take home. At first the new location wasn't fully staffed or stocked so I overlooked their problems but it has been a while now and things have not improved. The pastries are stale at 8:30 AM; the coffee is thin or acrid; and I get the impression the only person who wants to be there less than me is the woman behind the counter. It's a shame; we could really use a good alternative to Starbucks...
