The drinks i’ve had here have always been great. There hasn’t been one drink that I did not like. However, every time I walk into here.. I don’t feel welcome at all. There’s always younger women who works the front and every time I walk into the building, I just get starred at with no welcome or anything. I like to sit at the tables sometimes to drink my coffee and when I do, I watch to see how they interact with others to see if it’s universal. I’ve gathered that it’s only a warm welcome if the girls know you or not. I understand it’s a small town, but as someone who just moved here a year ago, I’d like to feel more welcome at an establishment that has never let me down with my coffee needs. I just wish the girls were more welcoming to EVERYONE....

I'm a bit of a coffee snob, so I'm always on the hunt for mom and pop, gourmet coffee shops--not major chains like Starbucks. After a brief Google search, I found Honey Bee Coffee shop online, located 20 minutes from my friend's house. Let me tell you, it was worth the drive into the countryside! Service was warm and friendly, and it was such a cute little shop with trinkets and inviting decor. Despite my skeptism, I ordered a hot snickers/vanilla latte, and their lotus drink with various flavors. Once I took a sip, I perked up immediately! This is now the third time I’ve tried their coffee and each time I’ve gotten something slightly different and each time I’ve LOVED it. I always ask for something close to an iced brown sugar shaken espresso with hazelnut and oatmilk, then they do their thing.There is just something about their espresso that’s never too strong and the flavor is unique.
