Insomnia Cookies — Restaurant in Cleveland

Where do I begin....this place sucks!! Last month I ordered a Birthday Cookie Cake for a co-worker and a extra 6-pack of cookies. I looked @ the app & it said the cookies were delivered. A week later when I asked my co-worker if they liked the cookies they said no cookies arrived?!?!

So I emailed their customer service rep named Melynda who responded "Thanks for emailing in! I do apologize we missed the mark on delivering the order to ! It appears there was a 1 put in front of the phone number to contact *, which caused the last number to disappear of her phone number. If you'd like to give me the full number, I can call the Bakery and have them redeliver, or if you would rather, I can refund the order for you!" That sounds ok I guess but hey, maybe you could have just delivered it to the address anyway since the delivery fee and tip was already paid for??! The total for everything was around $40, so instead of just refunding my credit card, I simply asked them if they could just give me a online $50 gift card, a little extra for the inconvenience. Her response".....unfortunately, we are unable to do that. I'll put it in as a suggestion for the future, maybe we can be pioneers of getting it to happen!"" Huh?

But OK, every place has a bad day. So I decided to give them another shot to do the exact same thing to the exact same place a few weeks later! It was scheduled for a 1130am delivery, I waited till about 1pm....nothing even though the app said it had been delivered! So I called the store, they said they could not get a hold of the contact on the order (even though I put the number of the person it was meant for and mine as well). So I figured the heck with it, I'll just drive to the store myself & get it. To add insult to injury, they said I had to email customer support to get the delivery fee & tip refunded?!?!? OMG for real?!?!

Will never return! if you want better & cheaper cookies & have the means of getting there, try Gourmonds Deli in Valley View! ...

Very very rude and disrespectful staff my wife and I stopped by to check this little Cookie Shop out there was two customers in line inside the building so we waited patiently outside its 19 degrees outside but we wait and so about 20 minutes goes by customers finally get their cookies well they must have been friends of the people that work there because then they start eating their cookies and proceeded to keep talking they make eye contact with us so me and my wife decided that we would just step inside because it's 19 degrees outside as soon as we open the door management and staff yells at us to shut door and wait outside until they're done we're obviously freezing so we wait another 15 minutes and they're still just Talking at this point the customers have completely finished eating their ice cream and cookies meanwhile they got their truck parked in the street with the music blasting so we decide to drive all the way to Lakewood to go to Mitchell's ice cream pick up our ice cream make it back to the parking lot because we're staying in the building right across from insomnia Cookies and they're still talking with those same customers in line music still blasting away they had to have turned away at least six customers because after we left we saw other people waiting outside as well very rude staff will not be going again this all happened around 8:30pm tuesday 12/22/20 in the not sure the names of the staff not a very good buisness model to leave customers out in...

Hey guys, this is my first time in insomnia! I ordered all of the same cookie thinking I had to in a package! And it is my favorite so I've had it a dozen times from other bakeries. Oatmeal raisin! I can only go off that flavor cookie and I'm not impressed! In fact I'm disappointed! Irritated that my friend purchased 6 for $16!!! Near $3 a cookie!? The size was not big at all. I have baked the cookies bigger and more delicious! The outside was hard & crunchy and the inside was semi soft. The flavor was nothing more than a grocery store cookie! I probably won't be returning and baking my own! Customer service was great! She was really nice. We went on veterans Day so she did inform us of the free six-pack with the purchase of anything! If it wasn't for that, I would have wanted my money back! Some of the other flavors may blow your mind but, I seriously doubt it if they couldn't even get that flavor right. Those cookies should have flavor to make you want to slap everyone in sight! for what they cost. Do way better with the recipe or make them...
