If you want a good steak with 1 side item included at a reasonable price, this is the place to go. Not to mention, the service was great. Our waitress was Rebecca. Instantly, she alerted us of what was no longer available. I appreciated that. She was kind, personable, and very attentive. I don't think we had to ask anything more than once. We didn't wait on anything, and she was pretty knowledgeable of the menu. It's always an enhancement to have good food AND good service. Our food was good. I've been here before, but something about it didn't make it seem memorable to me. However, this visit was superb. I ordered the 8 ounce filet mignon with cheddar mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the 14-ounce boneless ribeye. Both requested well done. Both are done to perfection. It's been a while since I've had a steak that I didn't have to send back due to it not being cooked to my request. Not this time. And it came out quickly. I literally have no complaints about this place. For dessert, we had the chocolate molten lava cake. Again, perfect. I look forward to my next visit here! The only thing I didn't like was the cornbread. It had some jalapeños or something in it that I didn't like. My husband loved it, so try it for yourself! I was hungry, so I forgot to take pics of my steak. Apologies!

Pretty good. Overall, I would recommend checking this place out. We had the shrimp cocktail which was great. The beer selection was not great, but there was enough to at least appease most folks. The service was good, as you would expect from a place like this. It was dimly lit, and we could easily have a conversation. The atmosphere was pleasant, and so were the staff. The reason for the 4-star rating: - It did take a while for the food to come out. I think we probably waited 35-40 minutes. - I ordered the special porterhouse, medium-rare. It came with a lobster cream sauce. I think it was too much sauce and took away from the flavor of the steak. Additionally, the steak was medium/medium-well in some areas, and medium-rare in others. It wasn't cooked evenly. I added a picture to show the amount of sauce used. It's not that the sauce was bad, it was too empowering - which takes away from the steak. I would prefer seeing maybe half the sauce and an evenly cooked steak. I think the sauce actually cooked the steak further in some parts as it was very warm. Perhaps even serve the sauce on the side. It wasn't severe enough for me to send back, though I think most people would have, but I still enjoyed it enough to finish.

First time coming here - Took my fiance here for her birthday - we had a reservation for 7:30 and arrived promptly, but had to wait an additional 10 minutes for a table to be ready. The people in front of us did not have a reservation but were seated before us (a bit annoying).. Our waitress, Mel, was great, attentive and professional. We started off with the Steak Cigars (basically a steak egg role) which were phenomenal. We were also surprised with the most amazing cast iron corn bread dish with a heaping scoop of honey butter in the middle... it was DELICIOUS!!! My fiance got the blue cheese steak which was cooked perfectly and she loved it. I ordered the Land & Sea special and a side of Lobster Mac&Cheese. My filet (Land) was cooked beautifully and tasted great, although the crispy shrimp (sea) was underwhelming, underseasoned, and the breading was falling apart. The Lobster Mac disappointed, as the first chunk of lobster I bit into had a huge piece of cartilage which was quite the turn off. Overall - the steak here was the best medium rare I've had in years - Kudos to the chef. The seafood could have used some more attention.

We showed up around 8 on Thursday without reservervations. The hostess said that she would see what she could do. After about ten minutes, she asked if the bar was ok. It was fine for our use. We sat at the corner table with the chop sign above. A very nice touch. The standard cocktail is 14 bucks, and beers range between 6 and 9. We had the bread dip, steak cigars, and calamari. Everyone seemed to like the apps. I thought the steak cigars which were like steak eggrolls was over cooked and somewhat tough. The cornbread was awesome. It was a little sweet with caramelized sections with jalapeños. I would say a slight sweet heat. Would recommend. A few of us ordered the walleye which was a pan fried walleye filet on top of perogi, braised cabbage and kielbasa. There was a mustard sauce on top. It was wonderful. The others had steak (filet, ribeye, and ny). Every one enjoyed their meal. We were too stuffed from the meal and cornbread that we didn't get dessert. I would come back. Our waiter/bartender was excellent.

I, along with my family visited the Cleveland Chop House on July 1st. When you think of a chop house in Cleveland you think of the Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse or Morton’s. The Cleveland “Chop House” is an embellishment of terms for sure. It’s a bar restaurant that wanted to go upscale hence the “chop house” label but nothing could be further from the truth. As we entered around 3:30 pm Thursday July 2nd, there was no one to greet us. When we finally got service we were seated. There was no one in the restaurant but us. Our waiter Davi was nice enough but obviously lacked the social graces befitting a chop house. He however did a great job. It wasn’t his fault the food quality didn’t meet chop house standards or was priced too high for the quality. I ordered beef short ribs that were mostly bone, meat that was chewy and way too much fat. The dishes of my family members were similar in quality. So, if you’re looking for a chop house in Cleveland don’t go to Cleveland “Chop House”. You’ll be disappointed. CL

First time visiting and it was phenomenal! We had reservations, got greated first thing and were seated almost immediately when comming in. Our waitress Mariah did a great job she made sure to mention the specials and knew every thing about them off hand. We got an appetizer, the steak cigars. There were pretty good! Very cheesy. We ordered our entry and had it out within about 25 minutes. My husband and I both got a 12 oz. Filet mignon with a loaded baked potato. This steak was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth like butter. The seasoning was delicious. Super impressed. The baked potatoes were just as good! I am glad this was were we decided to go to eat! I even got a little piece of complementary chocolate sheetcake with vanilla icecream for my birthday that was a nice suprise! The prices were on the higher side but you get what you pay for and you wont be disappointed!! Again thank you mariah for your great service.
