Well Managed Excellent Property My Wife and I spent 3 Years living at The Bingham, recently relocating back to the west coast. If you are going to live downtown Cleveland, which has so much to offer, this is the place for you. Our tenure there was characterized by very professional, down to earth, accessible and effective leadership. Randa is a terrific manager that always took the time to address any issues we had, either by herself, or quickly routing to an appropriate team member. She always had a smile and was perpetually inquisitive about how things were going. The maintenance staff led by Steve were terrific, prompt and kept our apartment in top shape. The amenities are great with great community rooms both upstairs and downstairs that we have used to celebrate major events. There are also two wonderfully appointed guest rooms right in the building that our families have stayed at while visiting as opposed to hotels, allowing them privacy, however, very convenient proximity. There is a Constantinos Market grocery just downstairs which we are already missing. It is awesome to be able to run to the grocery store 2 mins away to grab the ingredient you missed while cooking, or top up for drinks or ice when entertaining. There are two large parking lots adjacent to the building meaning that when hosting large events, your guests can park and walk right up - no worries. Finally I'd like to commend the concierges, Robert, Travis, Kelley and the team who have been a constant, helping with every little thing - and doing so cheerfully. Having stayed at many apartment complexes, I have to finish by saying that the tone of leadership from Randa clearly permeates the culture and has created an environment that we loved staying at. We will be staying at The Bingham again if Cleveland is in our future....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've lived at the Bingham for three years and this will be my last lease. While I would agree with most of the positive reviews for most of my stay, there is one thing that happens once a year that completely sours my relationship with management. I have auto-lease renewal each month and therefore have never been late with my rent, except during my renewal month. That is because management does not tell it's tenants to readjust their payments to reflect the new lease payment, instead they wait for it to lapse and send you an eviction notice! Great customer service for a tenant that is never late. The whole purpose of auto-lease payment is to not have worry or think about it. They treat their leasers at the lowest common denominator and the default is that everyone is scum and a chronic delinquent payer. This is the third time this has happened to me after letting them know how unhappy I am about the practice. So I'm guessing they are more comfortable with a type of tenant where this type of notification is business as usual. If you're not this type of person I would highly recommend you keep looking, there are lots of places...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: Someone reached out from Morgan Properties to "rectify" the situation. Initially the lady had apologized. But rather than follow through with humility, attempted to gas light me for their own wrong doing. You really can't make this up. The Bingham may be nice apartments, I'm sure the staff is lovely, but WOW..... the property managers are down right despicable.
Had reached out in May 8th when a listing for a 1 bedroom with a balcony was first listed to inquire on applying. Laura took 2 days to respond (understandable) but proceeded to attempt to sell me on 2 bedroom apartments. So I restated I wanted what I originally inquired about. She then ignored me for 4 days and it wasn't until I sent a question mark that she finally responded. She said that apartment was still available and sent me a link to apply for it to have already been taken. 6 days it took when the original information clearly stated I wanted "that" apartment. So then she goes back to attempt to sell me once again on what I don't want. Talk about unprofessional. Laura, you...
