Called in an order. It took me approximately 20 minutes to arriveand I had asked them to not start cooking it to delay in only 10 minutes and I would be there in 20 minutes to pick it up. Sonic manager said okay no problem and it will be ready when you get here. Order total to $23.45 and the total time from when I ordered it do picking it up it was over 45 minutes. manager said that they do not start cooking call in orders until you arrived and let them know that you were there to pick it up. I asked him what was the point in calling it in if they wasn't going to have it ready for me for when I arrived and I was still going to have to wait an additional 30 minutes for my order? His remark was he didn't know why I called it in and because that I work there two years ago he assumed that I knew that they're quiet policy that they only share between their selves inside. the whole point of me calling it in was so that I did not have to wait once I got there. Surely this makes sense to everyone and what it means and calling in a call in order to be picked. if they do not do call in orders until you arrive then they should tell you that on the phone that hey look it really doesn't make any difference if you're calling it in because we're not going to make it till you get here anyway and you're still going to have to wait regardless. Male night manager always wants to argue and debate with all of the customers regardless if they're previous employees are not. At this point I am a customer and I don't deserve to have my food delayed 30 minutesand be lectured on what their policies are in their routine. And for some reason he thought it would be important to tell me that they were busy, yes when I got them they may have been a little busy but not that busy that I had to wait 45 minutes for my food. Sonic policy states 2 minutes from the time you place your order to the time it gets to you. They have that two minutes to give it to you. On top of that one of the car hops scan the ticketto carry the order out to me and never did and left it laying on the counter to stop the time clock on my order because it had been sitting there way too long to begin with. plus I ordered a route 44 dr. Pepper with 3/4 of the way full of front ice which is considered crushed ice and a large strawberry shakewith no whip cream and of course it came with whipped cream on it and the lid fell off when she placed it down on the tableand the box that the chicken strip dinner was in was crushed because he was trying to cram in the tray of chili cheese fries into the box with the chicken tenders which there was five of those and toast and two things of gravy and to a small box... then he wants to come outside and when I say he he is the manager starts yelling at me out there in public and that we're all hell broke loose because he does not and nobody at the Sonic in Cleveland Texasknows how to serve the public there are so many complaints on this Sonic and Cleveland Texas that I can't even see straight. Read moreLast night we arrived at Sonic at 11:30. We were giving our order and I could tell the man was upset he was promptly cutting me off and saying "I GOT IT ! " Everytime I was done speaking... we were getting 3 meals (to much food 🤷?). He cut me off on the third meal and said ma'am we do not have any more meat. Knowing full well that he just didn't want to clean the grill... So we went ahead and got what he suggested for the 3rd meal instead of a burger that was chicken fried steak burger so we did. Thinking back on it. He suggested that because that's what he already had cooked it was cold.... The burgers were cold and hard they where absolutely thrown ! Together ! As we pulled up to the drive thru window the man was screaming in anger ! "I can't believe we now have to clean up this mess right before we close....and continued but that's all I could hear clearly, we then were contemplating leaving... the lady at the window opened it to get our card... She was also rude... She was aggravated because I asked for ranch and then was rushing us... She was also put out that they forgot half of drinks and i had to tell her they did... Total rush job and horrible service ! I have never had to complain about and restaurant... Hated to do it but you all need to get it together... We had a horrible experience and food.... That man needs not to be working with the public with that attitude.... Same as the girl... Very ungrateful to have jobs that...
Read moreI arrived at this sonic location at 4pm, we ordered 2 meals, a chilly cheese footlong, and a chicken sandwich. When we got the food it was a footlong all American hotdog so we politely asked if they could swap it for the chilly cheese dog, because that’s what we paid for. The girl was extremely rude when we told her it was wrong, and she brought back a 6inch all American hotdog.. so we drove to the window instead to get it resolved, we handed them the receipt and told them once AGAIN it was a chilly cheese footlong and we waited about another 12 minutes at the window. And once again, they brought us a 6 inch chilly dog this time, and at that point the rest of our food was cold and we just wanted a refund so they went to get the manager, he came at us extremely rude at the window saying we were in the wrong, and we ordered the wrong thing and that we only paid for a 6inch even though on the receipt it literally said footlong. After going back and forth for awhile just to get a refund, he wanted to only refund us for the 6inch even though we paid for the footlong and we had to prove to him through a bank statement of the amount we paid. And he said next time to read the SCREEN before proceeding to refund us. We ended up leaving the sonic at 4:55 with no food and bad customer service from every employee that we asked for help, as well as the unprofessional manager. I’m never going to that...
