The Roaming biscuit — Restaurant in Cleveland

Sadly we had a terrible experience here this weekend. Ordered 3 egg and cheese biscuits online each selected NO bacon - all 3 came with bacon on them. As a vegetarian this was deeply problematic. One of the 3 had ice cold cheese and cold egg, like it had been previously frozen. I know it hadn’t been sitting a while because when we arrived on time for pick up we had to wait an additional 15 minutes (35 minutes after the order was placed). Maybe we just had an off experience but definitely won’t be trying again. Since we ordered for pick up (toddlers in the car so unable to unload and go inside) we were unable to rectify these issues, plus after waiting 35 minutes we didn’t have time to wait for a new order anyway. Really fun and tasty biscuit/breakfast shop in Ohio City that I'm sad I forgot to get pictures of. It seems to only be open 3 days a week right now, but my wife and I were lucky enough to be in the area during one of those times, and the experience was enjoyable.

The small yet diligent staff was very friendly and very fast, even as they were handling numerous orders both in house and online. I had the short rib and egg biscuit with the house pimento cheese and it was definitely a lovely rush of various flavors and textures. My wife had the cinnbiscuit with strawberry glaze and thoroughly enjoyed the sweet and savory treat. We also got some house hash browns which were generously spiced and very enjoyable. This is certainly worth a morning stop if you're around when they're open...

I thought the vibes of this place were great & the place was super friendly. I gave the food 1.5 🌟 and rounded up. This place is for biscuit lovers. They have a very dense, buttery biscuit. Almost too buttery for me. I think where they excel is their sweet selection. But others might say the sandwiches were good. I just found the biscuits, too heavy. They hold up to sandwiches well. They place also lacks a lot of options for vegetarians and only offers basic options such as a egg and cheese. Which it would be nice if they offered alternatives to help provide structure to their cakey biscuits. The vibes were great though so I feel bad for giving a low rating, but the food was just...
