I recently hosted my baby shower at Patron Saint, and it was an absolute delight! The Sunday event was flawlessly executed with a fantastic buffet-style spread that left my guests raving about the delicious food. The addition of a skilled bartender ensured that drinks flowed smoothly throughout the celebration. The ambiance was perfect, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for my guests to enjoy. I appreciated the attention to detail in the music selection, enhancing the overall experience. What's truly impressive is that all of this came at a reasonable price. Parking was a breeze, thanks to the conveniently located lots and garages nearby, making it hassle-free for everyone attending. Marie, the owner, played a pivotal role in ensuring everything went smoothly. Her commitment to providing top-notch service and accommodations truly sets Patron Saint apart. I highly recommend Patron Saint for anyone looking to host a Sunday event, whether it's a wedding shower, baby shower, or any special occasion. Marie and her team exceeded my expectations, and I'm grateful for the memorable experience they helped create.

Lunch dates with friends at Patron Saint Cafe + Bar > This was my first time visiting Patron Saint and I already know it won’t be my last! When I stopped in yesterday to meet up with a friend for lunch I was immediately obsessed with the decor elements and interior design of this space—the open concept was so inviting and the window bar counter feature is ideal for those who wanted to grab a bite solo or with a friend. I started with an oat milk and honey latte followed by a green salad paired with focaccia from Leavened that I saved for the meatballs that David and I split. I think my favorite thing about PS is that they utilize Toast for processing so I didn’t even need to worry about bringing my wallet and was able to place my order and pay for my tab directly from my phone even though there was less interaction with our server compared to your typical restaurant establishment, she was truly wonderful and incredible at her job! If you’re in the Ohio City area and looking for a great place to dine in Cleveland, I would 10/10 recommend visiting!

★★★★ I have to say, Patron Saint Cafe + Bar blew me away with their fantastic food and incredible atmosphere - both solid five stars! Seriously, I had the best croissant of my life here. However, I do have a minor issue with the ordering process. While I appreciate the concept of independent self-service, using my phone to order was a bit challenging. It's especially awkward in groups; we often end up with one person footing the entire bill, then scrambling to Venmo each other or doing our own math to split the tab accordingly. Honestly, every time I have came here I have paid for the entire bill because it’s awkward at the ordering step. My suggestion? Adding tablets at the tables for a smoother ordering experience. Despite this hiccup, Patron Saint Cafe + Bar remains a top-notch spot, deserving of five stars for its culinary delights and ambiance.

Like the Room of Requirement, Patron Saint is whatever you need it to be, when you need it. Morning coffee and pastry? Check. Brunch with the girls? Check. Office for the day? Check. Post-work (or pre-work) drink? Check and check. The entrance is easy to miss, and parking around the area (Hingetown) is also hit or miss depending on the time of day. But it's almost always bustling in here, and for good reason.

First come, first serve seating anywhere you like - from booths, tables, window counter, or bar. There are outlets located at the bar and counter, if you intend to make this your camp for the day. None of the chairs are particularly comfy but the atmosphere is so charming that it's easy to forget. One of the waitstaff will magically appear and drop off a QR code, menu, and bottle of water in short order. I'm a fan of the virtual order and pay system, which allows everyone in a group to pay their tab separately without the nonsense of calculating off a shared receipt. But this can be confusing to those who haven't used it before. This also is preferable for me as someone who prefers to avoid situations where waiters ask how everything is when I've just started chewing my food, but others may be put off by the "lack of attentiveness". I've only had pleasant interactions with the staff!

Okay, so the drinks: mostly positive, with a few acquired tastes. Think lots of citrus, greens, and bread. Even many of the specialty coffee and cocktail drinks have some form of citrus. I'm a fan of the regular coffee drinks and cocktails, but have not bought into the orange and coffee combination yet.

Some of the food and pastry items do run out, and things rotate seasonally. Olive Oil Cake is ultimate comfort food. From the savory menu - things are on the pricier side. The Greens + Beans are delightful, Eggs in Purgatory is like a mini shakshuka, and salads are oh-so-fresh.

There's only one single occupancy restroom, but it's conveniently located next to a small wares section where you can admire some of the most tastefully curated collection (visually at least) of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Other giftables include Patron Saint merch, greeting cards, and specialty spices...

My friend and I went there today. She was very excited to take me here. We ordered. The servers were apparently not in a mood to provide good service today. The place was not crowded. Just putting the cutlery out of reach for us, kinda plopping the glasses and water on the table, it seemed like we were at summer camp not a cafe. We wanted croissants and they were out, which was fine. So we decided on the Olive oil cake. She asked about it, what's in it, is it chocolate? The woman told her, "It's an Olive oil cake. It's made in Italy." It took a few times and finally the woman said it has a citrus taste to it. Very condescending. Then my friend ordered a parfait and it didn't taste right to her. She finally got the server's attention and asked her about the yogurt...the server told her, "That's the yogurt taste" and that "people had been eating it all day and no one complained"..... really? How about a customer service comment, like,"I'll check for you", "I'm sorry you don't like it" or "Can I bring you some honey?" What I ordered was fine, but what I experienced was condescending and rude behavior. I'm out. Hope you have a better experience...
