I love BurgerKing. It's by far my favorite fast food restaurant simply due to its large variety, good prices, and fantastic menu. However, my general complaint to the franchise as a whole, and especially to the locations operated by meridian restaurants LLC, is that the quality is entirely hit or miss, location by location.
And this terrifies me. In my home townz sure, I know exactly where to go to get the best BK experience. But anywhere else, I could be in for a long night. This all begs the question, how does the Clinton Location compare?
Honestly, it's not bad. As I came into the lobby, I was greeted fairly quickly by a (frankly) all but cheerful counter worker. She took my order, a bacon melt with onion rings and a drink, and I was on my way.
As I came in, they had 5 orders in progress. Three in their drive thru, and two in their lobby (not counting mine). Understanding that, I would say that they were able to get my order finished fast enough. Though just glancing into their kitchen, the efficiency is quite poor. With six orders now, I wouldn't expect to see at least two employees just, standing around. But there it was.
The onion rings were crispy, and a delight to enjoy. The melt could have been better, with the bread not toasted In the slightest (which it really should have been, and was advertised as). But the meat and cheese were all exactly as they should be, so I'll be generous.
My biggest complaint rests in the overall atmosphere. The drink station, kitchen, lobby floors, and trash cans were in a very, very sorry state. Judging from the lobies activity, I'm positive that the amount of trash and disarray wasn't the results of an all too sudden lunch rush, and has likely been there since opening. But I digress. Perhaps the nonchalant and underutilized employees could find purpose in cleaning up the lobby. Just a thought.
And finally, as will forever be tradition of my restaurant visits, I took to the restroom to see how well maintained it was. Not. Good. Floors are uncomfortably sticky, the sink is disgusting, the mirror has streeks, and the toilets flusher has clearly not been cleaned. Oy vey.

Read moreJust wow. So I’m standing at the counter while an employee is asking the manager if she can leave work early. After he mumbles something to her she says k & the 2 go in different directions. Both INTENTIONALLY ignoring me standing here. The employee goes over to check the schedule or something on the wall, then stands there washing her hands for so long it was more than obvious she was avoiding helping me.. HER JOB. I’m staring at her just waiting to see how long before she has to acknowledge me. She throws me an awkward smile & darts away. The manager comes around the corner, like right at me to back up around the corner by the drive thru. Like what is going on here. Finally I ask if anyone works here that will help me because they obviously aren’t interested. I tell them i have an Uber eats Order, they didn’t even know it was there. The manager says well we Just got this order so it’s gonna be a bit. Just got the order?? It took me 10 min to here plus the 5+ min i stood there waiting for service. While I’m waiting, an elderly man stood here for a good 5-6 min, not a word was said to the man and no even acknowledged him before he finally left. They all need to find other work! They didn't put tomato on , hardly any mayo and the lettuce was brown and wilted. The chicken was old and rubbery and absolutely horrendous in taste. It was so gross I couldn't eat it. What a waste of money. I door dashed it so I paid a lot for this and didn't even get to eat. I will never give this place another shot. Me and my family are done. Pretty sad that even after all this time you still can't give good food. I can getover the forgotten tomato and mayo. I cant get past the fact the lettuce was rotten and the chicken was old and smelled bad and you still served it. DO BETTER ! What's worse is the owners don't care.
