El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Clovis

Very long line at the drive thru. After 6 minutes without moving I parked and went inside. The amount of people working there would probably be considered as understaffed but the ones that were there were on it, courteous and attentive and I was back out of the store before the driver in front of me put his order in at the drive through.

Update This was not meant to be a negative review. I have no issue with the service or product that I received. I was just letting people know the best way to maximize their time visiting the restaurant.

The reason for the delay which was completely understandable was they were waiting for more specific piece of the chicken to cook so when the people in the Drive-Thru were asking for 8 chicken breasts but no drumsticks they were waiting for those to finish cooking. The girl that appeared to be the shift manager was very thorough and completely in charge and it was evident I don't know her name but she does a great job of keeping that...

I went to this location tonight and had a terrible experience with a rude check out clerk by the name of Crystal. Her attitude made me lose my appetite. I had made an combination order thinking that it included a drink. When I noticed there was no drink, I simply asked for a diet coke, and the rude cash-out clerk by the name of Crystal, said NO! WE CAN'T DO ADD ONS, in a very aggressive vocal tone. She showed so much vile hate and rudeness, so much that it turned my stomach.

I drove home feeling sick and gave my El Pollo Loca food to my cat. If only I'd known that this ill mannered character would be working, I would have gone to Pandas. I'm a kind hearted All American Senior citizen and I didn't deserve to be treated so inhumanely. I pray that the manager send Crystal back to customer service orientation so she can learn how to treat and welcome good customers the proper way. Bad attitude, Bad Manners, Bad...

Came here for lunch with my wife. When we walked in it was around 12:20pm. The place was stifling..no air movement and hot. I am greeted by the front counter lady( who was very polite and helpful) and noticed that she also looked very hot. With all the grills going and people in the building I was surprised the a/c wasn't on. I asked her if she could turn it on and she did. When we received our food (2 salads) there was something I couldn't identify in my wife's salad. It was pale in color and gooie to the touch. Needless to say it ruined our appetite. Reason I'm giving such a low review is because this isn't the first time the food quality was poor. I have in the past called the manager and complained but it does no good. No one seems to care about the quality of the product they put out. At $30 for 2 salads it's a shame it came with this experience. Won't be going back to this location. Hope everyone...
