Island Time Marina & Restaurant — Restaurant in Cocoa Beach

We were excited to come try this spot as we read the reviews. We were travelling into town and were hungry and wanted a spot by the water. So we chose this spot. Upon entering, no one greeted us. It was confusing to go through the back and old customers had to help us. We had to walk through outside to get to the inside patio and a coworker was smoking right by the door. Bad impression. As we walked in all the employees were sitting at a table looking at their phones and looked up to say hi to us. They told us to pick a spot so we did. We had a cute waitress and she seemed sweet. We got our drinks fast. However the ordering was very clunky. She was unsure of some of our requests and left during the middle of taking our orders to ask the manager.....when really she should have handled it as asking for other options if our requests weren't going to work for the kitchen. Our food came.out at good timing I'll give that. The food was good, but the chips could use more seasoning. The problem is the management and training of their staff. The girl seemed new and she was just duplicating what the coworkers were doing....sitting at the table on their phones. She never checked on how our food was until we were done....we needed more condiments right after it was delivered but she left and disappeared.

We have worked in the restaurant industry for years and we give benefit of the doubt, but I will say the management of their team here is disorganized and uncaring for their clientele. Coworkers should not smoke right outside the door customers walk through.....waitresses should not be in their phones in front of guests and should make sure their customers are getting the service they would want. It definitely needs improvement and we won't be back. I wouldn't recommend it either until the management trains their staff better and cleans up the place. It reeked of bleach and my girls were...

I am 2 weeks post op for a major brain surgery. My dad wanted to take me to lunch at Island Time. Our server Miles was very attentive and made sure we were all set with the table we chose on the edge of the room away from everyone. We both ordered 2 different types of chicken wings. As I had been there before and raved to my dad about them. We waited a very long time for them to arrive. Upon trying to eat them we found them very overcooked and almost unbearable to chew. With approximately 100 staples still in my head chewing can be painful. I mentioned to Miles about the condition of the wings. Once we looked at them he agreed and said new would be made. A blonde female brought out the new wings. As she got to the table she became very rude in regards to us requesting new wings since we tried to eat some of the ones that were still sitting on the table. She dropped both plates on the table and walked away totally scolding Miles. Where we could still hear everything being said. I later found out she was the manager!

The second batch of wings were great, but I'm afraid I will not be returning anytime soon. This experience was not what I expected nor want to deal with again. If she was so upset about the original wings still on the table she should have taken then away with her rather than treating us the...

The cod cakes and crab dip with pretzel are the bomb. Full bar winch is awesome. We have only eaten here a few times when they had trivia going on a Thursday night. Trivia is super fun and the few things we’ve tried on the menu are pretty great. My only complaint is that the Thursday night server only seems to care about the regulars who are there each week. We always have to go get our first drink outside and then takes him forever to actually take our order or check on us. It’s super disappointing, because I have been a server for over 30 years and we too very well and are not super needy, but can’t even get a refill on alcohol or water when you can clearly see the glasses are empty. 😞😞 We would honestly come more if he would pay attention. We like Trivia and several of our friends go every week, but we just don’t feel comfortable when we can’t get served. He literally cashes out every customer at the end and I have to track him down to pay. If I wasn’t an honest person, I’d just leave. Disappointing really doesn’t even begin to describe the level of shunned I feel...
