I am a faithful breakfast customer at this McDonald’s location, always ordering the same breakfast from there every single time I order. I love the sausage biscuits! 😋 but only when they are COOKED TO ORDER and COOKED THOROUGHLY!!! I order from here during breakfast hours through doordash probably once every week, for like 6 months or so now. As I said, a faithful breakfast customer. As of late though, I’ve been receiving undercooked breakfast biscuits, where the biscuits are basically still doughy! 🤮 So after several times of ordering them and receiving undercooked biscuits, I finally left a corporate message on the site explaining my situation, and what I hoped they would do about it, also letting them know that I’d even accept overcooked biscuits, (because I actually prefer them that way) just as long as they weren’t undercooked. I am BLOWN AWAY by the amount of effort put forth by this location of McDonald’s in an effort to keep my business!!!!! I received two phone calls promptly, day after day, which I missed the calls unfortunately, but they left lengthy voicemails extending an apology my way, which imagining how many messages they probably receive, I’m sure they take a lot of time out of their day in order to respond to my one measly message they received, plus all the others, so that meant a lot. But it didn’t stop there! They also emailed me, with yet ANOTHER apology, and explaining that I could contact doordash for a refund. I assumed that was the end of it. But nope! Today, I received a letter formally from McDonald’s GM at the Northgate location Debbie S, in regards to my order that went wrong, and a very specific apology noting every error that occurred, and how sincerely sorry they are for this circumstance, and proceeded to include two free combo meal coupons for me to use at my earliest convenience as an extension of this apology, and they hope to serve me again sometime soon, and again, ANOTHER apology! I am absolutely astounded at the lengths this GM and location has went through just to maintain my business with them, and cannot express my gratitude enough to them for being so sincere in their apology and doing everything they can to make things right!!!! The food since then, has been absolutely 110% better than it was before I sent my message, and just comes to show that, instead of leaving a poor review based off of one single experience, all you have to do to improve your local businesses that are nearby to you is contact the company managers themselves and express your experience to them with hopes of what you’d like to change or improve, and voila! At least, with THIS specific location anyways! They definitely get 5 stars from me for sure! Especially with the manner in which they‘ve decided to keep me around longer, and by doing so, they’ve guaranteed a continuing customer from me...

Read moreAVOID AT ALL COSTS routine drive thru times 30-45 minutes - and higher. Food is never right. Wrong items AND items made wrong Previous time, asked for no mustard (due to a SEVERE allergy). Had to ask for it to be remade, get all the way home to realize they made me wait 15 minutes while they scraped it off. If I hadn't looked before I ate it, it would've been a very expensive hospital stay. This visit, wife ordered a double burger with no mushrooms, got a single with mushrooms. I ordered without mustard and got mustard again. Since they clearly are incapable of remaking food (see previous), I called the number on the receipt and was told I could expect a refund a week or more from now, or i could go into the store and get a refund as long as i had my receipt. So i took it in to the store, and was told i couldn't get a refund without incorrect food too show them to prove the order was wrong. I took my sandwich back in, and was made to wait for TWENTY MORE MINUTES because the manager was on the phone. When she FINALLY decided to speak to me, she told me it was the owner on the phone and she couldn't get off. Great! I said. And i asked for the owner's number. At which point i was told im story the owner isnt available. YOU JUST MADE ME WAIT 20 MINUTES WHILE ON THE LINE WITH HER. The only refund I got was for the one sandwich I brought back. Not the other wrong one, or the parfait we ordered but never got.
This place will STEAL your money, and then treat you like a jerk for having the courage to ask for the items you paid for.
Oh, and their fries suck. Always.
On a side note, if you're ever inside the store, peek in the kitchen. If you know what to look for, you'll see health code violations. Owner either doesn't know and is being kept in the dark by bad management, or...
