I had the worst customer service experience in this Chilis location. But I had been to many Chilis locations in the United States and I love Chili. My review is nothing against the Chili's. I still love their food and visit other locations. This location sucks in terms of customer service. They haven't asked me for complementary Chips and salsa, and when I asked for it they said why didn't I ask for it. After waiting in the queue inside the Chilis for half an hour and then starving for another 5-7 minutes for food, when I asked for Chips, one of the waiters, a black guy, responded nothing is free. I would like to hear from other people, who are immigrants, whether you have the same experience. The reason I am asking people who arrived later than us, who seem to be domestic, I mean white, they were served with chips and salsa, even though they didn't order for it.
Again, this is not against Chilis, but solely against this restaurant. I am writing this review in front of the waiter and the manager. Time: 1:45 pm, Dec 9, 2018. Updates.
The food quality was not great. When I finished my meal and asked for the bill. The waitress gave me the bill. In the mean time, I have posted this review and the manager had already read it. I could not pay the bill in kiosk and proceeded to manager to pay the bill. She offered me that I don't have to pay because I had a bad experience. Actually, she tried to influence this honest review by offering me a free meal. But I refused. I told her, I am not a beggar and I did not have any bad motive to write this review. Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. I placed a to-go order on the app and when I arrived at the College Station, TX location I checked-in on the app and parked in a marked To-go space. The sign clearly states “sit back & relax, we will come to you!” I did notice the parking lot was busy so when my estimated pick-up time had passed I wasn’t worried, but after 30 more minutes and no one seemed to be servicing other cars I went in to inquire of my order. It was sitting on a shelf, probably cold, and no one was at the to-go counter to help customers. When someone finally approached me I asked why they were not servicing the to-go orders, to which the answer was “because of the rain”… it was hardly raining outside…
There were no signs, no app alerts, and no one that let me know I would be waiting outside forever for an employee who would never show. I was left sitting in my car hungry wondering if my order had gotten lost in the chaotic kitchen, when instead it was sitting on a shelf getting cold because of the inexcusable failure of the staff to communicate their change in services. Not the best start to the evening. Once we were finally given the table, after waiting for a second time, we were seated in the bar area. If you have ever been seated in the bar area at Chili's, you know it is loud, tightly packed with tables, and lacks any feel of privacy. I order my food, beverage, dessert. When it comes time to pay, their kiosk stops working in the middle of one my party redeeming a coupon. We send the waitress with our phones to redeem the coupon. Mine comes back un-redeemable as I did not purchase an "entree." I got the Loaded Boneless Wings, which are listed under wings, giving me no indication that they are anything other than an entree. They apologize for not realizing my intention, but do nothing to decrease the much higher than expected price. I have had a more professional time with Subway in regards to misunderstanding coupons.
