We’ve been regulars at this place for a while, but our most recent visit was incredibly disappointing. I ordered a tamarind juice that tasted off almost like plastic. When we mentioned it, the woman (owner) insisted it was “natural” and claimed it lasts up to 7 days that the taste was normal. As someone who works in management and understands natural products, I can confidently say that truly fresh juice typically lasts no more than 2–3 days. Charging $5 for a juice that was almost untouched is unreasonable. What made it worse was how the situation was handled. Instead of being heard, we were made to feel like the issue was us as if our taste buds were the problem. Coming from a tropical country, we know exactly what real, fresh tamarind juice should taste like. Customer service, especially from the owner, was truly lacking. It’s disappointing to see regular customers treated this way. Clearly, customer satisfaction is not a priority here. On a positive note, our waitress was great very attentive and kind. Unfortunately, that was the only good part of the experience. Even the tostones seemed microwaved, which was another letdown. Thanks for saving us future time and money. We won’t be...

I ordered the lomo saltado, which is a stir-fry of beef, onions, tomatoes, and french fries. It was delicious! The beef was tender and flavorful, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The french fries added a nice crunch to the dish. I would definitely recommend this dish to anyone who loves Peruvian food.
Other dishes that I would recommend from Fusion Peru Restaurant include the ceviche, the anticuchos, and the causa rellena. The ceviche is made with fresh fish that is cured in citrus juices and spices. The anticuchos are skewers of grilled beef heart. And the causa rellena is a layered dish of mashed potatoes, avocado, and chicken.

Read moreIf you are in Bryan or College Station and are craving Peruvian food, I highly recommend Fusion Peru. It isn't that cheap, but it's somewhat affordable for its quantity and quality. If you want some real Peruvian food, try their ceviche. It's similar to the ones you can get in Peru.
We ordered their Ceviche and Arroz Chaufa de Mariscos. Their ceviche tasted fresh; it was strong, but not overwhelming, in flavor. The Arroz Chaufa de Mariscos was just a higher-end version of Chinese Fried Rice. I think it's a bit overpriced, but for the amount of seafood you get on your plate, I'd say it's worth it.
The customer service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and kind. Our waitress made sure we always had our refills whenever we needed them, and I'm telling you: she was VERY attentive.
It wasn't difficult to find parking, although, there are some days where you may find a bit of trouble. It's not too bad, though.
Overall, would I return? Yes, just to have the taste of...
