Lit Cafe — Restaurant in College Station

So, we looked them up online before visiting. The website said "hookah, cocktails, and karaoke...". The only thing that was correct was the hookah. The environment was subpar. They don't sell alcohol (or have karaoke) and, on top of that, you have to pay them $5 for BYOB. The shisha tasted burnt from the first minute they brought it and it took 30 minutes for them to bring it out, even though there were only 3 other people there. We ordered a coffee drink when we ordered our hookah and the waiter came back to confirm our drink 5 minutes after bringing out the hookah... So a good 35-40 minutes after we got there. The waiter also had no idea about anything. We definitely won't be returning. I can just smoke...

Ridiculously comfy furniture, snacks as well as appetizers and entrees are available and delicious(and reasonably priced). And obviously the hookahs which are nothing short of mesmerizing to look at along with the wide variety of flavors to choose from that has something for everyone. This hookah lounge stood out to me as well due to its gorgeous interior design. maybe I was a little harsh previously so I’m editing to also add positives...hopefully this makes owner a little less sensitive to criticism. I’m not into denigrating, just trying to offer honest, constructive advice.

Pros: friendly service, clean, newish furniture

Cons: Expensive hookah, plastic hoses...I liked the old setup better before it converted. This is a college town after all....Needs to be more chill n casual. Some advice - No glass tables that you’re not allowed to lounge your feet on...
