I came to this location at 1:33PM through the drive thru. By the time I left Collierville and entered Memphis, I had to turn back around due to my order missing items. I would expect the Collierville, TN location to have some type of standard or class when it comes to service. For one, never insult my intelligence when clearly an item that’s being advertised globally and on your windows that these ingredients come on the burger. Especially if I’m spending $13.27 on an item. But to tell me your limited time item doesn’t come with cheese but only the beer cheese on top and it’s advertised that other ingredients come on it. For you to tell me I can add it if I want lets me know you clearly don’t know your menu item. Why would I need to add something they automatically come on it. Instead, you, the lady with the lemonade braids, and a guy(worker) siting over there in a booth chilling, when you could’ve gotten up and checked the order. I’m guessing she was the manager on duty who wasn’t doing anything. Then I’m telling her to look at what you advertise on the flyer and it does come with it, not being rude, but don’t make me out to be a lie. Instead, she’s giving me a stare down. She didn’t even look up at the flyer that’s right in front of her to see its cheese between the meat but looking at me and saying it don't. She knows I was right. Then the meat was dry like it had sat some time or was reheated. For a first timer trying this item, I wasn’t happy. Instead, you should’ve said, “I apologize ma’am, you are correct. Let me correct your order”. Now I’ve attached a picture off the corporate website and underlined what comes on this Limited Time Only item. Clearly you and I aren’t blind to see cheese comes in between the meat and my burger isn’t suppose to come dry looking. Never insult my intelligence. I don’t know if she was trying to be funny, but wrong person. You all need better service and learn your menu instead of arguing customers down. Yes, they did remake the sandwich, but need...
Read moreThis freddys has gone way downhill in the last few years. The cashiers are slow and impersonal, Burgers are always overcoocked and not very presentable when served I have to take them apart just to be able to lift the burger off the plate without half of it falling out, the lobby is currently FILTHY and theyre really not busy enough to not take 5minutes to tidy it up. Fries literally under every table, not one of them is whiped down clean nor is the serving counter or the outside tables. and now apparently tho there is no charge for lettuce and tomato i can no longer add them to a plain kids cheeseburger for my daughter i HAVE TO purchase a double meal make it into a single plain n add the lettuce and tomato? So i was charged an extra 4$ for the same exact meal as a kids meal just to get some dang produce on my daughters burger. The bathrooms were so gross, i had no lock on my door, i had to use my diaper bag as a prop to keep it shut and why wash ur hands in a black sink. I also had TP stuck to my shoe when leaving said bathroom. I made the mistake of looking behind the counter conditions... 🤮And to top that all off every employee currently working looks like they just rolled out of a cardboard box on the street n came to work without a shower. Is anyone that works here serve safe certified? They'd likely fail an inspection! Its really not that hard to put just 10% effort into your jobs. I did fast food for 15years. NEVER would my employees LOOK this way nor would my Lobby EVER be this filthy. Its fast food. Its almost the easiest job to have in america. Im not expecting to be wined and dined but i would at least like to eat my food without wondering if its safe to do so. I dont care if you hate ur freddys job, put dome effort in and make the customers feel safe from food poisoning and content with their meals ina clean and bacteria free environment. Mcdonalds does...
Read moreThis was my first visit to a Freddy's Restaurant. Entering the dining room, I felt like I went back in time to the 1950's. The only thing missing to make it feel completely authentic was a jukebox.
I ordered the California Style Double combo with onion rings. Being a recovering In-N-Outaholic, I was concerned that this combo would not fully satisfy that craving that the west coast Double-Doubles always had.
My combo was delivered to my table in a very reasonable time considering that it was made to order.
Honestly, I was shocked at the size and shaped of the hamburger patties. Freddy's cooking technique includes squishing the patties flat. The result is a larger diameter yet much thinner patty that you would expect, and my first impression was that it looked unappetizing (boy was I wrong).
Taking my first bite, my taste buds went into overload trying to comprehend and distinguish what was this substance in my mouth. Hands down the best burger I have ever had the opportunity to taste.
The onion rings were very good, but honestly, the burger was so flipping delicious, all I wanted to do was keep it in my face.
While some of this review may seem exaggerating, it's not. The whole dining experience has set a new level of expectation for future reviews of other restaurants.
I truly hope that this visit wasn't just a fluke and that the planets and stars weren't just in alignment and that this is status quo for operations. I'm already looking forward to future visits as Freddy's has taken the crown as my favorite burger joint.
Thank you Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, please don't change a thing... ever!
