Burger King — Restaurant in Colonial Heights

Please do not go to this Burger King. I pulled up at the intercom and no one asked to take my order until 10 minutes after I was in front of the intercom. I asked twice if someone was there and the employee kept “stating I’ll be with you in a minute.” When my order was finally taken, the employee refused to take my coupon stating that they can’t take a coupon from the Burger King App. I asked do I get anything as a courtesy for my excessive wait and the employee said in a rude and obnoxious tone, “if you pay for it, I’m not going to give you anything for free.” I pulled around and walked into the restaurant to speak to the manager about the unruly service and the manager stated that they “were understaffed and only had two employees working and could not take my coupon or my order in a timely manner.” When I looked in the back, the two employees that were working were both smoking a cigarette while there were three cars in line waiting to be served. Hence, they were not tending to their customers. This has to be the WORST customer service I have ever experienced and I will never again return to this Burger King. If you can avoid this burger king, save yourself the time and do it. Everytime I come here they have us waiting 20 minutes at the least (I've timed it after the first few instances just to see) Not sure what the deal is but they need new Management apparently bc this location really sucks. Maybe they don't have enough people to work, idk. Either way it's an extremely long wait and the employees are kinda rude, more than likely due to poor management and being put in situations where it's only 1 or 2 people working at a time and it gets very stressful especially dealing with people who have had to wait so long. It's a loose loose situation on this side of town. I feel for the employees bc I feel like they are trying but no body is there to help...

This particular Burger King attached to the Shell gas station over by Southpark is one of the best Burger Kings I've ever been to. This was my first time going into this particular Burger King and I was extremely impressed. The inside was very clean. It's very spacious with plenty of sitting areas and the employees are all very friendly and professional. The food was excellent! To make sure my food would be nice and hot, they did not start cooking my whopper and fries until after I placed my order. You don't see that kind of service anymore when it comes to fast-food restaurants like burger places so it caught me off guard for a few seconds but I was thoroughly appreciative that they took the time to do...
