O boy! So disappointed. We came here on 08/31/25 at around 2:30 till 3:00 I’d say, and we were greeted, actually no we weren’t. We weren’t greeted we were just asked “how many” and took to a table. My family and I, were smiling and being so pleasant because we were so happy and ready to spend some money here, there was 5 of us. I was pushing my handicap 89 year old grandma in a wheelchair , we were brought to a table, mind u not one staff member smiled at us or even acknowledged us for that matter, and the girl who seated us never offered to pull out a chair for my grandma but left it to me, to lock her chair than grab the restaurant chair than pull it across the dinning area and leave it somewhere, anywhere, as I asked a staff where to leave it and they just pointed. I knew before I even sat down that, we were not welcomed. Now, this is a predominantly blk staffed and all the guest at that time were blk… which didn’t bother us Ofcourse, but it was noticeable as when we couldn’t even get a staff member to say one word to us, than we started to feel “unwanted “ . We sat at our table, for about 10 minutes waiting for someone, anyone to greet us. Maybe smile at us. Acknowledge us? Their was a few servers who cleaned the table next to us, and behind us. One server, a blk girl with long braids, she was delivering food and I smiled at her, and she rolled her eyes… never said a word. That’s when I told my family, I’m starting to feel targeted, it’s obvious our kind of ppl were not welcomed. It’s the only think it could be. We came in smiling, talking trying to converse with staff… but we got nothing. Not even a acknowledgment. It’s sad, in today’s age, were we just wanted to eat dinner and be supportive of our community. After a while of sitting with no one acknowledging us, we started to feel embarrassed. As other ppl sitting around us, started to stare. Why could we get no service? We were wanting to spend a couple hundred dollars and we are great tippers, our server would had gotten atleast 100$ tip (I’m a server as well, I love supporting other servers). After while if no service, we finally got up to leave. And Ofcourse, no one asked us where we were going, no one offered to get us drinks, no one offered us nothing. They all watched us go…lol. I can only laugh now, as how silly the whole thing was. Makes u realize how truly divided we all are. Sad thing is, my mom and dad and grandma have eaten their s few times before, and never had any problems. That’s why they went back, to take me. But now they say they will never eat their again. As I walked out, I told the “hostess” she was a Hispanic girl (I say this as I was never given their names and I want whoever reads these reviews to know who we were in contact with) and she just watched us go never saying a word so I said “thanks for nothing, we will leave a review “ and I don’t know if it was the hostess or bartender but I heard behind my back “we don’t care” and I just thought that was so funny. The staff don’t care bc they get paid regardless of how they act. Unfortunately the owners loose business over these issues. U can have all the good food u want, but if u r continually getting feedback about bad service than it dont matter how good the food is. If ur guest can’t get a simple hello, or even a smile, than who wants to eat at a place where u r not welcomed? Anyways im going to leave these reviews as someone in my shoes might have tge same service, or might want to go their with their family and eat, and if u dont fit in than u will get treated like a criminal. Sad. I’m sure the owners r good ppl, but they have a staff full of bad attitudes and absolutely no idea in how to provide good service to everyone, no matter race, religion or handicap! We ended up going next door and eating at the buffet which wasn’t bad. Next time we will make the drive to get seafood at a better location. -1000 on service Can’t rate anything else, well bc staff didn’t want us there....
Read moreHello,
I hate that I have to be the bearer of bad news. I placed an order at Volcano crab at approximately 8:40pm on 07/01/2025. When I got to my destination, which was about 15 minutes away, I realized there were no potatoes in my bag. I called to let them know the potatoes were missing so a male employee said that he would put me on a list to receive the potato. Maybe 3 minutes after realizing the potatoes were missing I opened a crawfish and it was ICE COLD. I felt around the bag only to realize the sausages were ice cold as well. I called again to advise them of the SECOND issue. The manager on duty argued with me stating “I just don’t see how it could be that cold when we put sauce on it and the sauce is hot”. She then advised me that she could remove me from the list to get my potatoes that were missing and give me a 20% discount on another bag. I was baffled. How does that make sense to take away my already purchased potatoes and offer me a coupon because Volcano crab made another mistake?? After telling her I would not spend another dime with Volcano crab she stated “well I don’t know what to tell you”. At that point I asked for the number to corporate in which she told me it was a family owned business so there wasn’t a corporate number. She stated that she couldn’t provide me with their contact information so I asked her to have them call me and she outright refused. She exclaimed “the owner will tell you the same thing and I thought you said you weren’t worried about the 22 dollars”. So I still don’t have my 22dollars or edible food, this experience was a complete loss on my end. I feel as if I have been robbed! This is the absolute WORST experience I have had in any...
Read moreCame here a few months ago and it was great at the bar, but horrible today. Waitress took our drink and appetizer order then didn’t come back until much later. Appetizer was bused out before our drinks, napkins, silverware…Food was served incorrectly cooked with no silverware, crab crackers, condiments, lemon, sides, napkins…asked for cocktail sauce four times and it never came, so we made our own with the no horseradish and ketchup from the fries. Crackers were substituted for kitchen scissors. Have these been used to cut raw chicken ? Shared a fork since they brought three forks for a four-top. Tried to get the steamed oysters removed from our check (which were supposed to be raw with cocktail sauce, lemon, horseradish to go with our Bloody Mary’s), but they refused to make this right. Literally served us steamed oysters with nothing to go with it, and no napkins or silverware. Who orders plain steamed oysters and eats them with their bare hands? We waited to each try one (2/12 total) when the drinks came out about 10 minutes later or so to confirm they were not raw to ask for them to be fixed. They said they couldn’t do anything since we tried them, then tried to say we actually ordered steamed oysters. If you order a steak and it’s not cooked correctly, so you not make it right? We ordered steamed crab legs, not steamed oysters. The cost of the oysters on the bill was also higher than that advertised on the menu. $122 later and still hungry for the three hour trip home. Too bad. It was so good...
