Taco Bell / Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Colonial Heights

Training is needed here; reading the previous reviews and adding our recent experience this evening. Went there from our home passing up two other Taco Bells because this location always gets it right. This evening, they missed the mark. Around 6:15 pm/est we drive in and there is only one car in the drive thru--it was told to park and wait for their food. We order, two Cheesy Burritos. Pinto Beans, Soft Taco Supreme, and Medium Sauce. We too were told to go park and they will bring it our to us. This was the first time this has ever happen so we timed it, 6.50 minutes later, a gentleman can out with our food on a tray, but could see him opening the food and scooping what now appears tons of taco sauce into the bag. We were suppose to get four(4) medium sauce packets, not a ton of a sauce variety we received. When I asked him what he is doing, and opening the seal to our bag, he said, I was told to deliver this to you and put all this sauce into your bag as well. Let me add, the sauce he is referring to is probably 40 packets of a variety of all sauces Taco Bell offers; what a waste of condiments. We accepted out food but as we drove away decided this was too weird, delay to preparing, then the deliver guy opening the sealed bag and repeatedly shelving in tons of taco sauce as he walks to our truck. We decided to dump the entire bag of food in the trash and go to another Taco Bell. Recommend reviewing the video if such is available in the parking lot. We went to the Taco Bell one on Iron Bridge Road, near out home, and did not have to wait or be flooded with weird amount of Taco Sauce. Management, please read and review this; there is a problem that needs to be addressed; training, disgruntled employees, or something. Everyone had to park to be served when I was there and the restaurant was not busy. ...

I have been dining at this specific Taco Bell location for well over 10 years, and it pains me to say the quality of service has been poor...and it’s only gotten worse with time. I don’t understand why the workers can’t seem to get my orders right but the last 3 times I’ve ordered I’m either missing an entire item, or what I ordered was not correct. Today was my last chance at this location and it didn’t surprise me that I was not only missing one of my items, but I also received the wrong taco on my order as well. I ordered a build your own cravings box and a cheesy street chalupas box. I was missing my chips and nacho cheese and instead of getting a spicy potato soft taco I got a plain hard taco… Luckily we check our bags before we leave and got what was missing. But the fact that the CUSTOMER has to check behind the workers is beyond sad. We shouldn’t have to check bags or worry if our orders are correct. Getting fast food should be a pleasant stress free experience. Period. Also, the associates give you attitude and side eyes for checking bags and asking for what THEY failed to put in there too. Talk about wonderful customer service… is that how they want to be treated in a restaurant? This location used to be my favorite because the workers were polite, the food came out in a timely manner, and my orders were ALWAYS correct. I’m not sure who is training the new hires, or who is managing the restaurant now but they need some SERIOUS help. Big time!!! I will no longer be ordering from this location because I can’t trust the workers to be polite or to complete...

My family wanted Tacos for dinner so I thought id go to the taco bell. WORST DECISION today! I ordered the family pack and when I left the restaurant ...about three steps out the door the bottom of the box opened up -- there went my dinner all over the parking lot! I went back inside and asked the cashier if she noticed anything odd about my box and she went to the manager -- said something I couldnt hear and the manager brought me a bag......I was so aggravated ...and before I knew it I said "What do I need a bag for- the tacos are all over your parking lot." She then told me that wasnt what she was told. She had the nerve to ask me how I was holding the box..... again .... my mouth answered (by that time I was so amazed on the whole situation) wide open -- "what do you mean - the handles!" I was so over whelmed - so aggravated that all I could do is turn to my friend and tell her I had to go --- She was nice enough to wait on the remake -- and I went outside. I was told after I left that another manager was yelling at the crew about the box ..... but what good does that do???? Im not even sure I should feed them to my family..... Just think - I wanted a hamburger anyway!
