If you're looking for an unforgettable hot cocoa experience, look no further than your local bluffs Dutch Brothers! From the moment you roll up to the drive-thru, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for what’s to come. The staff—particularly Kae and Kelissa—were absolutely phenomenal. They greeted me with friendly smiles and made the whole process feel personal and special. Their genuine kindness made the experience that much better. Now, let’s talk about the drink—wow. The hot cocoa with caramel drizzle was a masterpiece. Smooth, velvety chocolate paired perfectly with the sweet, indulgent caramel, creating a rich and comforting cup of heaven. The drizzle added just the right touch of sweetness without overpowering the cocoa’s natural richness. It’s like they captured the essence of winter and poured it into a cup. Every sip was pure bliss. The atmosphere only added to the experience—bright, cheerful, and energetic, but not overbearing. It felt like a cozy, upbeat spot where people come not just for coffee but for great conversation and a sense of community. I walked away not only satisfied with my drink but with the lingering feeling that Dutch Brothers knows how to treat its customers right. If you haven’t yet tried the hot cocoa with caramel drizzle, you’re seriously missing out. Make sure to ask for Kae or Kelissa—they’ll make your visit even more memorable!

Dutch Brothers has great coffee with many locations. They are super fast and know how to handle a high volume of customers. One of the greatest things I like is their support for the car community. There is a gathering of cars at the Dutch Brothers on Austin Bluffs every weekend when the weather is nice. This past weekend they served as the starting spot for the Gannon Stouch Memorial Cruise In Colorado Springs. They offered their entire parking lot plus all surrounding parking for this Memorial event. I noticed a line of cars wrapping around the entire perimeter that were in line to get coffee. I could not believe how fast the line was moving and there were other attendants outside taking orders ahead of time. I decided to go ahead and get in line and to my amazement it took about four minutes to get my coffee. I would highly recommend Dutch Brothers, they seem to be really on point!

I come here extremely often, almost once a day. I get the same thing and always appreciate the work done and leave a pretty decent tip. I did the same thing today and got my usual drink. The only thing different today was that they clearly made my drink a smaller size on accident or in purpose and crammed the cup with ice to fill the space. My drink that I usually finish in 1 hour at work was finished in the 5 minute drive from the location to my job. Extremely disappointed today. Never had this happen before and seems extremely random. Will be going back though because I have an addiction lol but just thought I would share my thoughts.

This location has been my favorite location to come to since 2019. I was introduced by a friend. From the first time I showed up. The music was playing on the speaker outside. You saw smiling faces and laughter going forth from both customers and staff. Each staff member created an environment that made you want to come back to this welcome party. Kindness, care, concern, smiles, laughter, appreciation for others, and respect were among the many things and so many others that I encountered almost daily. Most especially from Daniel the ex manger and his wife and Kelcy. To name a few.

Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. For the last year in a half my visits have become few in number. This is do to drinks being made in correctly more often than usual. But that can be fixed. The staff and their Unprofessionalism; however, as well as their attitudes are my issue. I can work with a person who is having a bad day or going through some things personally. I can give grace and say that this bad experience may have been an isolated event. I can not however deal with a piss, poor, pathetic individual who serves a horrible drink with a horrible attitude to go with. It doesn't matter day or night, weekend or week day, to holidays. Same attitude from all. They are rude. Don't always give a genuine greeting. Will give a 'dry' "Hello", after you speak and greet them... One of my most recent experiences was asking for a particular tea with flavor. When I received the drink I quickly and kindly stated that the drink was made incorrectly. No big deal. Just make another. So the woman looks at my order to check if I had given her the wrong information. Once she found out I didn't, proceeded to give the drink back to the male Bariosta and he gave it back within seconds adding flavoring. Never rectifying the situation. So I drove around the building. Keeping in mind and considering the long line of customers waiting to be served. Came and politely brought the drink, explaining, that the drink was made incorrectly and that I would appreciate my money back. Instead of it being a smooth transition from there. I was asked a bunch of questions about how I wanted the drink to be made?! Whats wrong with it?! What was I expecting when I ordered?! I was met with an attitude to say the least. You can tell that me bringing the drink back, (to which you took no time to remake and rectify the first two times), was an issue. I was met with a nasty disposition. Now I know for a fact that if I were to ever treat anyone of them in the same fashion that I would be asked to leave, never come back, get the cops called because of my attitude, or all the above. There clearly needs to be a brush up on training. You are there to deliver a service. You are working with customers from all walks of life. And you are also dealing with people who are having a bad day or dealing personal hardships as well. But it wasn't apart of our job to mistreat anybody based off how you feel. Check that nonsense at the door. The work place has no place for pitiful excuses for an employee. Please take these low ratings serious. Because the staff that work for you Dutch bros are a representation of your company. If I could give negative...

Went to this location this morning to get two coffee’s. When I pulled up there was no one out taking orders and there was only cars in the left line. I was going to go in the right line but I didn’t want to cut the other two cars ahead of me so I just went behind the car in the left lane. Figured they weren’t out taking orders because it was cold and not busy. Two cars pulled up a couple minutes after me and went to the right line, then two people came out to take orders and went to the people that pulled in after me to the right. While they were taking their orders the line moved up so I moved up behind the car ahead of me. Then one of the girls came up to take my order and said very rudely “next time you need to wait until we take your order cause it throws off the orders”. I said “well I was here before the other cars to the right of me”. She said “well still you need to wait” and rudely took my order and ran back inside. When I pulled up the girl at the window started rambling off a long order that was not mine. I said I had the two coffees, she replied even ruder then the first girl “did you see the sign to go to the shortest line?” I said “no and I have never had such rude people at a Dutch Brothers”. She rolled her eyes at me and said “neither have I”. Wow I guess now I know to go to the shorter line even if I’m cutting people, and to never go to this location again. I have never had worse customer service anywhere and usually the people that work at Dutch Bros are very...

UPDATE Wow! What a better experience!!! Couldn’t go about my life without updating my review. I went today, on a little bit of a time crunch but not terribly concerning. Between the staff dancing in the parking lot and the fact that someone in front of me paid for my drink, it was one of my best experiences at Dutch bros by far! I went ahead and paid it forward for the next person that hadn’t paid, happened to be that they were a first timer at Dutch! Thats exciting :) I’d say this location definitely got their stuff together and I am very happy with it!!

Hopefully they’ll get it together with it being a new location and all. But it took far longer than necessary, yes I know Dutch usually takes forever because well it’s usually amazing coffee, however, they couldn’t keep their orders straight and had to ask every car which order was there’s and would offer the wrong drinks to the wrong car, then I ordered a medium iced flapjack being that I wanted to try their new flavor and I’m not exactly sure what I got but it is terrible.. not sweet at all like the advertisement suggests, it tastes like straight shots of espresso as opposed to the sweet Carmel, vanilla and white mocha that it’s supposed to be. This is the first time I’ve gotten something that I legitimately cannot drink and I’m extremely disappointed. As I said, hopefully they get the new location straightened out but I will not be going back to this one...
