I really can't say enough good about the staff at this location. It is rare that I leave this franchise without a smile, and only a fraction can be attributed to the coffee. My favorite baristas tend to work the night shift, but even when I've gone during the daytime, it's a good experience.
To begin, the staff are largely enthusiastic. Whatever troubles they have in their lives, they don't show their worries to their patrons. They are quick, attentive, and make a simple thing like ordering a coffee feel like a personal experience, as if they took time out of their day just to make a coffee for me. Even in the times when it's apparent they're not having the best of days, the best baristas at this location still seem to give 100% of what they have in every experience.
If I were to suggest improvement, it would be in the structure of the building itself. As a late-night customer, I am not surprised when the walk-up window is closed, but it apparently provides a glare so that it is difficult for the baristas to see that someone is at the window. The window is also built so that I often have to lean downward to see past the bottom edge of the window frame. It's a small inconvenience, but it's there. Also, the music is often so loud I have to shout my order, though it's often quieter at night.
Really, there's nothing else I could mention to improve my experience at Dutch Bros. They've managed to take on the competition from a certain Seattle-based company and succeed in producing a better product, but also a better company. I have the insight of having worked for the aforementioned company from Seattle, where enthusiasm for the customer is mostly ignored in preference of, well, I'm still not sure. With the kind of customer appreciation Dutch Bros. shows, it's a safe bet I'll go out of my way to be a customer whenever I think I'd like a...
Read moreSo I am Posting these pictures because I have attempted Numerous of times to contact the Corporate Office, As Well as the Manager of the Person who caused this damage to my vehicle. Maybe this will finally force them to contact me. I was in the drive-thru window of the DUTCH BROS on COLORADO AVE AND WEBER in Colorado Springs, Co when an Attendant came out of the Hut and was walking down the ramp with a dolly, she lost control of the dolly and it rammed into the side of my van. She immediately apologized and reassured me that it was nothing but a minor scratch, "She swears, it a just a tiny little nick." I made the huge mistake of not getting out of the Vehicle and inspecting it for myself because I was on lunch and needed to get back to work, and I took her to be an honorable person, in other words I took her word for it. Well it wasn't until the next morning that I actually got to assess the damage, Low and Behold it's not a little Nick it's a HUGE, GIGANTIC SCRATCH GOING NEARLY THE WHOLE LENGTH OF MY SLIDING DOOR, WITH PAINT TRANSFER. THIS ISN'T A SCRATCH THAT WE CAN JUST BUFF OUT EITHER. I wasn't able to inspect and see the SCRATCH because I didn't get home until after Midnight that night from work. All I want is the acknowledgement that something happened and for it to be corrected. That attendant flat out lied to me about the damage and I don't appreciate that. I also don't appreciate being told that management will call me and then they don't, or that I call the Corporate number all day and all it does is ring, no answer, no Voicemail nothing. I also sent an email and no response to that either. Let's see if they respond...
Read moreNormally it is a pleasant experience, but today my fiance and I did a walk-up order with one of the rudest employees. The music was so loud she couldn't hear our order even though we were talking quite loud and looking straight at her. Instead of saying "sorry can you repeat that" or something polite along those lines she just put her hand to her ear with an annoyed attitude and no words. We waited for our order only to find out that she only ordered one of our drinks. I assumed the other drink next to mine on the counter was for my fiance, and she proceeded to yell at me that that wasn't my order. We both were too upset to wait around and make a second order since she treated us so rudely. I don't know her name, but she doesn't represent your company well at all. I work in customer service myself, and I would never treat a customer the way she treated us. I'm doing 4 stars for the other experiences we have had, today just started our day in such...
