El Taco King Mexican Food — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

🌮 Hands down, the BEST tacos I’ve ever had! Every time I eat here, I immediately start plotting my return… and then my next return after that. These tacos are seriously loaded, affordable, and bursting with flavor.

The staff? Super friendly! One time it was pouring rain and I didn’t have an umbrella — the owner just casually handed me one like a taco angel from heaven ☔️🌮💫

Also… the mango juice?! Chef’s kiss. 🍹 Not too sweet, just the right amount of refreshing.

Whenever I’m in the Springs, I make it my personal mission to come back here and grab their tacos. If they ever open a second location, I’ll probably move...

SO GOOD!! This is not a food truck you want to pass without stopping. I work across the street and saw that this food trucked had popped up recently, so today I decided to walk over there and I am so glad I did. I got two tacos al pastor and devoured them before I could even take a picture for this review. For the price they came packed with meat and they were authentic and fresh. The salsa was bomb. The horchata was refreshing. Customer service was top notch. And looks like they also had an outdoor seating area. Overall - 10 out of 10! I will be back.

If you are looking for a taco place that has authentic and unique flavor please come visit these guys! Out of the couple I’ve tried they make the best tacos and everything in town. My favorite and, I’d highly recommend them, are the sopes with chicken! It’s the perfect balance of soft taco, meat and lettuce. While you are there you have to try the watermelon aqua fresca!
