Learn moreI ordered a steak, egg, and cheese flatbread this morning. I ordered through Uber Eats from work or else I would have taken my food back to have them add what they skimped on. I ordered bell peppers and onions on my sandwich but it literally had 3 thin sliced small pieces of bell pepper and a few sad pieces of onion. Needless to say my flatbread sandwich did not have the flavor I was expecting. I felt like I was primarily eating egg and flatbread. It’s pretty common that subway skimps on meat and cheese but will load a sandwich up with vegetables. That wasn’t the case here. Honestly, I would have been satisfied even if the vegetable to meat/cheese ratio was unbalanced but to skimp on vegetables? Come on. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the first time I’ve ordered from this location and received less than what I was expecting. Last time they forgot the chipotle southwest sauce entirely. I figured I’d let it go since that was the first issue and decided this time to give a second chance. If you get food from this Subway, I’d definitely recommend ordering in person so you can see exactly what you’re getting. UPDATE I ordered another steak, egg, and cheese flatbread this morning. I love this flatbread and had to have one brought to work today. I would have ordered from another subway but unfortunately this one is the closest one. I hoped and prayed they’d get it right this time. Unfortunately, they didn’t. The sandwich was the same pathetic sandwich I got last time. At this point I refused to pay for less than what I expected. I ordered a second sandwich. This time I called the store to ensure my order would get made the way it should be made. The lady on the phone explained that nearly no vegetables is regular protocol and that I should have chosen the extra vegetables option on my ordering app. I go to subway often and I’ve never had to ask for extra vegetables while at the restaurant. EVER. I’ve also never been charged for extra either. Subway does not offer an extra vegetables option on any food app. I’ve checked. I tried to tell the lady that but she proceeded to argue with me saying she “knows for a fact” an extra vegetable option is a thing. She was pretty snippy about and I was shocked that Subway allows their employees to be condescending and argue with their customers. I told her regardless just give me extra vegetables. My sandwich arrived with extra vegetables, however, the sandwich was cold. It was obvious by the first bite and looking at the cheese that the sandwich had not been toasted like I asked for with the toasted option on the app. At this point I’d suggest going to another location all together. Unless you’re feeling up for an argument and want somebody to talk to you like you’re a stupid child. There’s literally only 4 pieces of...
Read moreWONT HONOR COUPONS AT CHECK OUT - EVEN IF THEY SAY WILL AS YOU CHECK IN
Had an awful experience today where I took a friend to this Subway and presented a 2-footlongs-for-$12.99 coupon BEFORE ORDERING. The employee seemed happy to scan the coupon, then muttered something about the scanner not working, but also that it didn't matter because it would work out. I came away with an understanding that he would make the coupon work. I asked him if there were certain footlongs that the coupon applied to, and he said, "No, you can order any two footlongs."
I proceeded to order two footlongs, chips, and drinks, and when he rung me up, he said he could not honor the coupon. I pointed out that we had just discussed this and that he said he would honor the coupon. He said, "Well, I thought the scanner just needed more time, but it's not going to work." I asked him if he could over-ride it and honor the coupon as he said he would. He said, "No, because then that would be on me." At one point in the discussion, he took my coupon and underlined the words "Redeemable at participating Colorado, Southern Wyoming, Western Nebraska and surrounding area restaurants" as if this proved that I shouldn't expect the coupon to work...After the SAME employee told me up front he would honor it.
I ended up paying twice as much for the meal as I anticipated, and this frustrating experience was my SECOND bad experience with this Subway, so I will never be returning, and I will be warning others to stay away, too.
Note to Subway corporate: YOU mailed me the coupons. This is the closest Subway to me. Since you can't get your franchises on the same page, your promotions are meaningless, and your business loses...
Read moreUpdate: PERMANENTLY CLOSED - for the past two weeks this place has been closed everyday. No sign as to why. Don't waste your time.
I hate doing this, but at this point I have to share. I have been coming here for over a decade. The hard part of writing this is that I work near by. They were at one point my favorite Subway. Jen and the owners did a great job (mainly Jen). Ever since Covid and now with Jen gone things just aren't the same. They have allowed this place to run into the ground. I know there are many factors that have put them in this situation but after 5+ attempts over the last two years (where I use to be a once a week to once a month regular) I can't say that any attempts are being made to better this store. From understaffing to improper training of the current staff, I can't justify spending money here anymore. The kid currently working is clearly overworked, underpaid and you can tell just doesn't care. I hope they turn things around, but for now, I don't see this location lasting...
