Follow up to my last review. We decided to give your place another try since it’s so close to our house and the girl said she would honor the online pricing with the free 2 toppings and protein add in. I have only a handful of allergies and coconut is one of them and I also cannot have granola. So I drug my sick butt out of bed and my husband drove me down there. We get there and I asked to swap the coconut for a different fruit (the last time I was there the girl had no problem swapping the coconut for me with strawberries). First off I showed the girl my “attempted” online order, opened up the cart and showed her what it was charging me which was only $11.99 with 2 more fruit toppings and protein add in. She wouldn’t honor it like she said. Tried to charge me for every little thing! I told her I couldn’t have coconut and wanted to swap it for strawberries, she charged me for that as well. I explained to her when I was there last Weds and ordered 2 bowls the girl told me they could swap anything out no problem with no charge which she did. So I ended up getting the blue bowl with strawberries and blueberries. But not without an attitude from the front desk girl, you could tell she was super annoyed, she wasn’t friendly at all either. ALSO, when I was there 2 customers came back to complain about their orders and have them redone. One girl was allergic to granola and she ordered the PBJ bowl, so she had to remake her bowl. Then a guy came in right after her complaining about his smoothie not tasting right and it tasted water downed and he wasn’t pleased. My bowl was awful! Not only was is not the right consistency (it was literally like trying to eat juice with a spoon, completely waterey), it had no flavor, not like a smooth bowl AT ALL!!! See pictures below, the top layer was very soft and chunky icy texture, once I scooped into it it was completely melted so I was drinking it instead of spooning it. Not to mention the lack of toppings. The picture with the toppings is accurate, I didn’t eat any of the fruit, just moved it to the side to show the water like consistency of the bowl. Your bowls are NOTHING like the pictures and again lacking severely with toppings, flavor and consistency. This is my last attempt at trying to get a good bowl here. Management needs to address this ASAP! Might also want to look at the Colorado Springs review rants/raves page. Not very good things being said about this place. Unfortunate too, we need a good smoothie/juice/acai bowl place on this...
Read more2 issues…….i went in on weds to order 2 bowls. It took almost 40 mins to get my bowls so I was incredibly late getting my daughter to her practice. The bowls were soupy and only 2 toppings per bowl that I ordered. My go to place is Toastique and they charge only $1 more for their bowls and they’re LOADED DOWN with tons of toppings and the consistency is on point, so a little disappointed in pricing and lack of correct consistency and chinsy toppings, not to mention I don’t like almost all the topping combos. To have a HUGE handful of granola on top and like 4 pieces of sliced strawberry is insulting. 2nd, I attempted an order online. It was allowing 2 fruit toppings with no additional charge, vanilla pea protein and collagen as added mix in for no charge as well. Wouldn’t let me order, kept saying “couldn’t validate cart”. Called and asked about that and if I could order over the phone for my hubs to pick up (I’m sick right now and didn’t want to venture out and give someone else the sicky bug). She said she couldn’t take my order over the phone and she didn’t know why the order wouldn’t go through. Said they didn’t have kiwi or collagen and to take those off so I did. Still didn’t work. Told her what online was saying with 2 free fruit toppings and those 2 add ins. She said she didn’t know what to tell me and that she didn’t know how everything worked in the store and what is charged and what isn’t!!!! I also downloaded the app and tried ordering that way and it gave me an error code of “rush bowls isn’t accepting orders right now”. It was 5pm when I did that and they close at 7:30??? Asked her if we came in and I showed her my order would she be able to honor it and her she got a little snippy with me. Fix your online ordering, fix your toppings also, if it’s not available it should t be an option online for order or delivery. For a new place not impressed at all and this is 5 mins from my house and with a stomach bug this was the obit thing that sounded appetizing for me right now. I’ll stick with my original go to place from now on or drive way up north to OLA to get our families açaí bowls...
Read moreI’ve enjoyed coming here, up until today. I came in to get a bowl and desperately needed to use the restroom. I’m currently undergoing emergency renovation at my home and am without a bathroom. I figured I could pop over to get a bowl and use the toilet.
When I asked for the key from the young lady behind the counter, I was met with an extreme attitude. Instead of simply being kind and explaining the policy, she was condescending and rude. She spoke to me as if I was trying to take advantage of their facilities and wouldn’t give me the key until I paid, despite me insisting that I would be purchasing something before I leave, as I had originally intended. She continued to speak to me in a condescending manner, insisting that I pay first, not being considerate of my needs in the slightest.
Instead of simply allowing me to use the restroom. She lost a sale, and a customer. I will not be returning to this location, as much as I’d like to. The customer service was appalling and that is no way to speak to someone. This is a customer facing business and I expect those serving as the face of the business to act accordingly. Never in all my years of working in customer facing roles have I treated someone with this level of disrespect. Do better, Rush.
Edit: I am now seeing another negative review about the exact girl who was working today. Black hair and glasses. She had an attitude when she’s served me before as well, this time I was only buying something and comes across in a very rude way. It seems that I’m not the only one to have a negative...
