This establishment needs to hire people with more than one brain cell! I've never been so disappointed in a Chuck E cheese location. I know the corporation has to make millions and billions so they're going to jack all the prices up but $29 for a pizza you could get anywhere else for $14 is ridiculous!
We went here on Friday night. When we got here about 6:00 p.m. it was not super busy but somehow the employees couldn't find time to man the front counter. After about 20 minutes we finally got our tokens and placed our order - nothing complicated, a supreme pizza and some hotwings for the adults and a personal pan pizza for my grandson. We were handed a buzzer since they no longer delivered to the table and we went off to play games. Fast Forward almost 30 minutes later the buzzer had not gone off. I walked over to the window only to find my pizza and hot wings sitting in the window. This is not the first time this has happened, apparently the kitchen doesn't understand how to actually use the buzzer system they just give them to you to make you feel better about yourself.
Once we did finally get our order we were still missing the personal pan pizza. I went back over to ask the manager about it and he said no problem I'll bring it right out. We waited about another 10 minutes and asked again and the Mexican lady behind the counter was not only rude but treated us like idiots because we didn't keep our buzzer ( after the manager took it promising to bring the food to our table)
The food was decent. Nothing to write home about but not terrible and we all enjoyed dinner. My only complaint is it's about 3x the price it should be but I guess that's how you screw over an entire organization especially when the majority of the customers are foreigners so probably not intelligent enough to understand the value of what they're paying.
Getting dessert was what took the cake, literally! We ordered a slice of cake and were handed a buzzer. She told us it would take about 10 to 15 minutes!!
Now I know based on the food I've already had that they aren't making fresh cake for every order so why should it take 10 to 15 minutes to cut a slice of cake and put it on the plate? Fast forward almost 20 minutes later we want back and asked her about the cake. She disappeared and came back with a prepackaged piece of cake sitting on a plate. Really!
Like I said apparently using more than one brain cell by the staff at this establishment is not allowed. Evidently they don't know how to put a piece of cake that is already prepackaged on a plate, I'm guessing it was too difficult to open the freezer door!!
The apathy of nearly every employee at this location is amazing. If the manager had apologized or done anything to make up for it I might feel differently but
We won't be back...
Read moreThe location seemed great for play, but... They really dropped the ball on birthday parties. It was as if they don’t do parties all the time.... Everything was late and disorganized. Half my guest bought their own play points- spending money they shouldn’t have as my guests. For over $400, I expected my stuff to be ready for the time I paid for, not 20 minutes into it. And now I’m left with tons of points and cards to go to waste. It sure would have been really nice for my guests to have had them at the beginning of our party time slot- not 20 minutes after the kids dispersed, or at the end when I got the rest. On top of that, the pizzas were brought out one at a time (with over 5 minutes between each pizza) with no mention of the time schedule. The kids came to the table on their own to eat because they started to get hungry. As soon as they sat down to eat their cold pizza, we were informed that in 10 minutes it would be time for the show/cake. Then, by the time they got to the ticket blaster, all the kids had left the table again because they took so long after the show. No one on the staff seemed to grasp how to run the parties. I have never been so disappointed or embarrassed in hosting a party. Anything that was mentioned to them came as a surprise(like host family showing up 15 minutes before party to finalize details/get everything lined up at table. All parties were set up late, most starting late that I saw. For the same time slot and the one after. They sell it as- your host will take care of the details, but no one in the entire place seemed to know how the parties were supposed to work.
They came through from a customer service standpoint and are looking to work with the location to improve future experiences. So hopefully the managers will help the staff get on track to make future parties go as they are supposed to. My son does love going to Chuck E. Cheese. And this location has a good layout and fun games. I just happened to have a really bad party this time around. But they were really good at following up and gave me more than I imagined they would to...
Read moreWe went to Chuck E. Cheese last night with our granddaughter. (6:30) I ordered a combo of a large pizza and cheese bread with 2 drinks and purchased her the kids cup. I also purchased her a play card for an hour for nearly $30! We were given a beeper that was to vibrate when we pick our pizza up from the window. We sat and had our drinks. And waited. After 40 minutes and not seeing anything come up to the pick up window, I went and asked the girl at the front of there was an ETA on our food. Her words were, “we’re behind in the kitchen, we have a party and we need to make 10 pizzas. I’ll check for you.” She never came and told us anything. So I Paid another $13 for a salad to hold us until the pizza came. She didn’t eat it, she wanted the pizza. (Can’t blame her, what kid wants salad over pizza)
I took her to play while we waited. Came back to the table and my husband said we were still waiting. Took her to play more, came back to the same. At this point we’re gonna need our money back for the food. I went and requested my money back, a manager or someone of age, came and refunded my money for the pizza. While the other girl had an excuse of the “party” which was already almost over by the time I went up the first time, this girl said “ok, I will refund your money”. We were stuck there until she played her card out of time. Nearly 2 hours there waiting for a pizza, when it was not busy, spending over $90, (before my $32 refund), and my gbaby getting 2000 points on her card to walk away with a monopoly house dog house and a mini toy dog and a handful of little suckers is so disappointing. We won’t be going back there. Save your money. We have had her birthday party there a few times. But that’s it. We’re done with them and their invisible pizza!! I’d rather order Pizza Hut, take her to the park and the store for a real toy and spend about 1/4 of what I spent there. I don’t see them in business long. It was pretty dead for a Saturday. They don’t even have the stages anymore. It’s all on a tv screen!!! Ain’t nothing fun...
