Worst Panera Ever! The last handful of experiences with this Panera location are just awful, and gives all Panera's a bad name. Let's just talk about today's issues.
First, I ordered a delivery to arrive between 12:45-1pm. Usually, when I order delivery, my order arrives 10-15 minutes early. To my surprise, they actually arrived at the scheduled window. (First time ever not arriving 15-20 minutes early) That was about they only thing they got right today. I had ordered 8 lunches, 4 included soup. The delivery man, Michael arrived, and literally just dropped the bag and left. I started to set out our meals, noticing no soup was delivered. I had to chase him out to the parking lot to catch him in time. He was very nice, and told me he would go get them and return. As I went back to continue to set up our meal, I noticed 2 whole sandwiches were missing. I then called into the location, letting them know Michael would be back to pick up our soup, and if they could send the missing sandwiches back with him. Of course, they just say, " yeah ok we'll send them out". What customer service ?!?! Long story short, around 1:15 they came back with the soup. We had a total of 4 cups of soup. They sent back 8 soups, 4 drinks, and pastries. I'm not sure if this was their way of " making it up to me" but how unprofessional. Just throw whatever in the bag and call it good?
If this was my first bad experience, I would have let it go, but after the 5-6th time of having an issue on a large delivery it is just ridiculous. In addition, Nick the manager at this location could really use some additional training in customer service, and food management. Every interaction with this man has made my head turn. He is unhelpful, and does not take responsibility for his store or lack of customer service.
Get it together...
Read moreAs someone who use to manage a Panera years ago...my first visit wasn't great. Store only had 4 people and yet I stood waiting for my Togo order that wasn't in the pickup area for a few minutes, only to have one of the unmasked food makers yell over to me if I was waiting for an order and then point on a counter nowhere near the pickup area. As someone making food in a pandemic...and being customer facing you should def have a mask on. Also-the manager who was helping was also maskless. Then there obviously is no QC checking orders csuse when I got home my bowl of soup was a cup, and my soup that came with my bread bowl had about 3 teaspoons worth of food in a super tiny kid size container. As someone who knows the products really well..neither container was correct. Not only that but my togo drink was missing...which I had to ask to be made...which was also made in 16oz cup not a 20oz cup. I took the drink as is and left.
Besides the bakery girl who was nice...the other works were def more concerned about talking about taxes and how much they were paid then assisting the few customers they had.
This location def needs to do better. I'd you're thinking about coming here def read the reviews. Next time I'll just order local.
Update: Knew I should of thrown it away. I spent all day sick to my stomach and worked remotely half the day on a toilet. Seriously just...

I've been coming here since it moved from the previous location on the other side of 36 (quite a while back now). The food is typical Panera...pretty good but perhaps a bit generic. I am fine with that, it is what it is.
However, ever since they got rid of the classical music in favor of what they are currently playing, we can hardly wait to get out of there. Seriously, the music is bad, really, laughably bad hipster music. 30 minutes of excrement and then they throw a Bob Dylan, REM or Smiths at you like that's supposed to make up for the hell they've just put you through, then it's back to the grind. Can't there just be one casual dining place where you aren't confronted with the fall of western music?
I thought every other Panera had switched their music to this garbage, then I went back to my little home town of Joplin Missouri...yes for some reason Joplin, MO is good enough for Beethoven but we must suffer through the worst that the current generation can puke forth. Forget the classical, how about Muzak?...what a relief that would be! Or even something so obviously cheesy I can ignore it? I don't expect it to change, but I'm telling you the minute a decent alternative appears within driving distance...
