Overall disappointing but there was a couple bright spots. The good was the soda as it was not overly carbonated like many fountain drinks. Salsa was very good. Very clean restaurant and all the food seemed fresh. Atmosphere was family friendly and the music wasn’t blasting over your conversation.
Now here’s where it was disappointing. Our server didn’t seem familiar with the menu or wasn’t experienced with handling multiple tables. It wasn’t busy when we visited and the confusion about my order was strange as I read it off verbatim from the menu. At first I shrugged it off but then we overheard the same thing with the table behind us. Neither of our orders were correct. According to the menu my a la cart burrito only comes topped with green chili and the lettuce tomatoes onions etc are additional. I ordered them additional and was told that it was included, it was served without the toppings. My wife’s came with red chili instead of green. Food itself was good except the green chili, it was just a starchy gravy. Also the additional toppings are $1.95 each, way too much for a burrito topping.
Couldn’t get the server to bring the check so we just went up to the register when the manager was ringing up someone else. Server read the situation and tried to ring us up but there was two margaritas that we didn’t have and it seemed incredibly painful to have it corrected.
We understand minor mistakes but nothing seemed to get corrected, just a downward spiral that left us...
Read moreHighly recommend, vegetarian-friendly, and a really kind, helpful staff. Our family of four recently dined here and from the moment we entered we were delighted: we were cheerfully greeted and thoughtfully seated (as we've a family member in a wheelchair), and our server, Lily, could not have been more helpful, patient, and kind. Our family member had a medical issue and she was gentle and accommodating. The food, everything, was delicious. I had a combo with both soft and crispy chile rellenos and while both were yummy the soft relleno was out of sight. Lily took special care to meet my vegetarian needs, and special care for our family member's nothing-spicy need. My husband had a chimichanga and really liked how it was not simply a deep-fried burrito (like elsewhere); one child had carnitas which he kept eating even though he was full -- it was so good, he said, and another had enchiladas suiza which he pretty much inhaled. I would return just for Lily, was was outstanding and will make this yummy meal all the more...
Read moreToday I'm in Colorado visiting family after some tough times. My Aunt took me to this restaurant and thank God she did. We walked in and were greeted immediately by a very nice gentleman and seated right away. I appreciated the clean restaurant and authentic music and decor. I felt welcome immediately and settled in. Lily soon came over and was our server. She was so kind and sweet and answered all of our questions with a smile. I want to say that this is by far the best restaurant I've been too ever! I don't say that lightly. If you want authentic Mexican food that is cooked to perfection in an authentic atmosphere that welcomes you in right at the door, and want to feel like family while you dine, this is the place! Thank you Lily and everyone working today! I hope everyone will come in and enjoy the wonderful experience we had today. I will make it a priority to eat here every time I'm in Colorado. Keep up...
