They had maybe three tables of people in the whole place when we got there. Took for ever to seat us. We were a party of 7 hoping to get the big round booth. Instead stuck us like sardines at tables they pushed together in back where they put in the orders. The "hostess" was frazzled for no reason. Going back and forth from the dining area to the hostess stand with nothing in her hands saying I'll be right with you. WHY WE DID NOT LEAVE RIGHT THEN I DO NOT KNOW!!!! So we sat there for over 15 minutes. We have children in our group 3, 5, and 10. So a "waitress" very stressed out finally makes it too our table. Her personality was flatter than a pancake. I got my entree before my appetizers (that's always a sign of good service.....¿¿¿¿¿). ALL of the adult entrees were served before any of the children's meals arrived. Okay well what do you think the kids did? Asked where's my food? So now we tried to make the best of it feeding them stuff off of our plates. WORST SERVICE EVER AND NOT KID FRIENDLY!!!!!!!!!! And the were not busy at this time. SMH....never...

I asked for something else, and although they didn't have an allergy menu available for the adult meals (they are going to fix that), I was able to figure out that the cedar lime chicken would fit my allergies to dairy, beef, shellfish, and wheat. It ended up being the most flavorful, perfectly cooked meal, and they were nice about not charging me for the fries I ate that came with my ribs initially. Overall, the kitchen needs to work on some skills with not turning half racks of ribs into jerky, but the customer service was excellent. One warning: it's not clearly said, but the tabletop games come with a $2 charge. We had thought they were free since there was no message initially about a cost. Be careful about kiddos grabbing the tablets and having fun because you might end up...
Read moreThey've found a way to not honor their veterans by having only 2 wait staff on veterans day. One loud waiter, and the other lady stayed in kitchen, stickin her head out to look at the empty dining room ( only 2 tables seated,) neither server acknowledged us, spoke casually to the table next to us but it sure seemed he wasnt going to do one more free veterans day lunch, so he ignored us. He wasnt in a hurry or behind., he just ignored us. My son and i travel from sedalia and ofallon to meet here cuz i got out of the 2 wars as he was deploying to his first.
