Crumbl — Restaurant in Columbia Township

First off I don’t know how they sell out of anything. They have 7 workers standing there doing nothing. They could easily make more and fulfill orders in time. Horrible experience and we will never go back. They only have limited options because their brains would explode if they were required to handle more options since they couldn’t figure out how to put one of each in a box and acted so confused by it. One of the girls working kept complaining about how customers need to stop coming and was talking bad about the customers. It was extremely crowded and everyone was just standing there watching the workers do nothing. So as she was talking terrible about the customers who were all patiently waiting without saying a word I was trying to grasp the concept of why she believed we couldn’t hear her. This was the most awkward and uncomfortable experience ever. Standing in a crowded, miserable space with nothing to do other than stare at them while they talk bad about us for over 40 minutes is insane. No one says a word to you. It is crowded and if you haven’t been there before no one tells you that you have to order over on a screen on the wall. How this place is still in business is baffling. If you enjoy standing in a lobby watching the slowest, inefficient employees of all time just stand there and stare at a screen then this is the place for you. I ordered the Dubai chocolate brownie online since it said they were in stock. When I got there the employee informed me that the system on the app had reset and they didn’t actually have the brownie I ordered. Irritating, but no big deal. What was a big deal was the incredibly rude employee that told me this in a wildly condescending and snarky manner. They told me that I was basically stupid for ordering it since they don’t have any and I should’ve known that their app was wrong. I still tried to be nice and say “well that’s ok, you guys have a great day!” To which they did not reply and just turned away from me as fast as possible. Maybe they were having a bad day or something, but even the smallest ounce of respect did not come out of this employees mouth and I was appalled that they made it seem like I was the biggest asshole ever when all I did was come to pickup a brownie. I’m sorry that I didn’t know ur app was wrong, but that’s not my fault especially when there is no indication that it may be wrong. This was only the second Crumbl we have been to. We were disappointed when we walked in that only 2 flavors of the larger cookies were available (chocolate chip, confetti milk shake). Only 3 of the mini flavors were available (chocolate chip, pink velvet, sticky bun) bought a 3 pack mini and one large cookie. After waiting 15-20 minutes I was told the large cookie flavor was sold out and I would have to wait 35 minutes if I wanted it. So now only the large chocolate chip was truly available. It was a little after 8pm and the store doesn’t close until 10 so I would not expect them to be out of most flavors. I would not normally order a chocolate chip cookie because it is so basic. My daughter did like all 3 cookies (chocolate chip, pink velvet, and sticky bun). For me the point of going to the store is to try the unique flavors.
