Delysium Artisan Bakery — Restaurant in Columbia Township

I visited delysium for the first time last week. I ordered a dozen mini pastries online for a social gathering I was going to that evening. Unfortunately, when I got there, a DoorDash driver had taken my order! The gentleman working there instantly took accountability for the error. I didn’t have time to wait for a dozen more mini pastries to bake so he gave me a dozen full sized pastries that were already ready. I insisted that he give me less as 12 full sized pastries is quite a bit but he would not take no for an answer. They handled a tough situation with kindness and grace and put in the work to make fix the issue. This establishment is run by quality human beings.

We got a mix of sweet and savory in that replacement box and my wife said she was better off for having one that with shredded chicken and corn it was so good. I didn’t eat a single pastry that I didn’t thoroughly...

I ordered site unseen. It was my husband's birthday and I didn't have time to go from one place to another and I didn't want to hassle with traffic. I went through their website and picked out what I thought he would like along with a slice of their chocolate cake for the official celebration. I was worried that the order wasn't being processed right and that the food would not be delivered as requested. I called the bakery and a nice young man helped me and assured me the food would arrive as requested. Sure enough it came on the morning of his birthday and he loved the food. It was delicious. The cake we shared after coming home from a dinner out. Wow the cake was so moist and the caramel in the middle was to die for. Thank you Delysium Artisan Bakery for perfect...

Pastries: The NY rolls were ok but not great. Very underwhelming. Tastes nothing like the real ones. The other pastry we tried tasted like cheap Walmart pastry.

Coffee: Their coffee was absolutely disgusting. I know they say they’re not a coffee shop, but they charge for coffee same prices as a real coffee shop and it tastes absolutely terrible. Couldn’t even finish the drink. I would recommend just not having a drink menu and maybe just offer filter coffee.

Customer service: the person who helped us when we were in was very rude.

Overall, very disappointing experience. Will not go back. If it remains this way, I doubt they’ll be open for that long. At some point the hype is gonna fade and it’ll be all about quality and service...
