Taco Bell — Restaurant in Columbia

Absolutely the worst Taco Bell in town. Usually three times as long as any other, and consistently gets your food wrong. This location is the closest to my house, and I'll still go anywhere other than here. Saw there was no line today, thought if there's no one in front of me or behind me, surely they can't mess it up. I was as wrong as my order was. First they told me they didn't have an item clearly featured on their menu, had to go over this several times and specify exactly what I meant bc they weren't aware of it. In a rush to get home, once I'm handed my food I take off without checking it. This is really my own fault, because I should absolutely know better by now. I'm not exaggerating when I say I have never had an order from this location without an error. This wasn't a difficult order. This wasn't a custom order. This was a burrito cravings box, (3 beefy 5 layer, 3 shredded chicken), although at home I discovered I instead had 3 burritos and four tacos. I drive back to the store, explain to the drive thru there was an error with my order and I'd like the missing items. The person at the drive thru's response is I have to make sure I order the right thing. Seriously. After talking them thru their own menu, and confirming again at the window when paying, they hand me the wrong thing and then blame it on me for not ordering correctly. In a rude, sharp manner. I've often made excuses before that it's a busy location, but there's no one else here. I reply that I was clear with my order since I had to repeat it and clarify twice already and get cut off, told that she didn't take my order (literally the same person that took it and that confirmed it) and to pull ahead. (still no one behind me) The person running out the order was very pleasant the first time, I was going to pass along my compliments to her for being so quick twice, only this time when delivering my food she pulls down her mask before even handing my food to me to say it's not their fault bc they're having a competition and they have to hit certain speed numbers. She also said she thought there was extra in my box but she wasn't sure. I think she thought it was a good thing to tell me this. She obviously wasn't management, because she referenced a manager forcing people in when they had 4 call outs. I've worked food service, I've been short staffed, I've made mistakes. Everyone will, but it takes a lot of gall to mess up an order twice, (that's right I came back and it still wasn't right, and I was the only person there both times) and tell someone to leave you a good review bc of your competition, when you never apologized for messing up the order (which ended up taking a half an hour to fix), did nothing but blame the customer, and seemed oblivious how you even got it wrong. In fact, definitely conveyed an annoyance that I wanted the food that I paid for. A terrible experience from start to finish, and the absolute last straw...

Worst customer service experience ever I went to the taco bell on Providence road in Columbia with my kids and husband for lunch on my husband's lunch break from the VA. We had been here before and had a similar experience but it had been a while and figured it may be better. We ordered on the kiosk, spent about $50 dollars for the 5 of us. Inside was super dead but the drive through was fairly busy so when they forgot several of our items it was no biggie. I had worked in customer service and restaurants for 15 years before my current position so I get it. Things get missed. I went up to the counter, waited 15 minutes for someone to finally acknowledge me and a young lady asked what I needed. I told her 5 drinks, 2 slushies, an iced coffee and 2 fountain drinks as well as 2 orders of cheesy fiesta potatoes. She gave me the 2 slushies and the iced coffee and walked away. I assumed she was getting the rest. I waited another 15 minutes while several employees talked among themselves then finally got a gentlemans attention....told him what we were missing and he responded I don't know what you're saying. I just had a major oral surgery and my speech is impaired right now so I don't know if he was making fun of the way I talk or just being sarcastic. I repeated it and he said no I heard you I don't know what you're talking about. I told him we were missing those items from our order. He continued being rude, yelling and berating me, Finally the girl from before handed us our other cups and the potatoes. I asked for his name he sarcastically spelled out Christopher...still yelling. He said he was in management and I could call whoever I wanted that they were short staffed and nothing would be done about it anyway. I told him his customer service could use some work Then a young blonde girl with glasses told me they were busy and didn't have time to make the order. I asked for a refund and they refused. We ate our food and left as my kids were super hungry by this point and my husband had to get back to work but it was overall a terrible experience and I would never go...

This taco bell has to be one of the worst I have ever gone to. I have ordered from this location a handful of times in-person, as well as online. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, because sometimes things happen and food may not be top quality, but after ordering here enough I can confidently say this place is consistently awful. The food is almost always incredibly cold and clearly sits out for a while before you receive it. They often miss key ingredients to common menu items, or disregard customizations you make to your meal that cost you extra. Every time I order chips and cheese, or nacho fries, they fill the sauce container with roughly 1/4 of the cheese other locations give, causing you to run out before finishing the item. The fries themselves are usually cold, stiff, and without seasoning. Many times their tacos and quesadillas seemed as if they smashed them down before putting them in the bag. And today I just ordered the newest combo box, which the whole selling point of is that it comes with a new type of hot sauce, and what do you know, they didn’t give me the sauce. This place has not delivered me one even DECENT meal over the probably 15-20 times I have ordered from them. I will never order here again, and I strongly recommend no one else does either.
