After a disappointing experience about a week ago, I chose to try and order from this location again this evening since it's the closest to me and historically, this location has been pretty good. After ordering through the app and being told my meal would be ready in about 10 minutes, I arrived on time and was asked by a staff member the name of the order. After providing it, it was clear that it wasn't ready as it wasn't on the shelf. I waited, as they had a line of several customers. It seemed that the line was moving extremely slowly as staff were moving without much urgency despite having a long line and several people waiting. 10 minutes after my order was supposed to have been ready, the staff member finally brought my food over. The young lady who bought the food over paused and looked at me while I looked through my bag and saw that part of my order was not there and THEN told me they were out of that item. She clearly had no intention of telling me they were out if I hadn't been looking in my bag and then looking at her in confusion. When I asked if could just get a refund she offered no apology or customer service and simply said I would have to do that through the app. I ended up going to the Pickerington location to get the chips I paid for and they were nice enough to allow me to show them my receipt from the Tussing location and get a bag from them. At this point I won't be returning to this location and would go to one of the other nearby locations. It's clear that they are understaffed and the team members they do have are less than professional or efficient. Management needs to take a serious look at this location and find out how they can offer support to the team members here, it's clear...
Read moreI’ve been going to this Chipotle because the last few times my burritos have tasted amazing. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be coming back here or to any Chipotle anymore… I’ve tried just about the surrounding area Chipotles and around Columbus and I get the same results: rice piled on my bowl even though I clearly state “just a little bit of rice” (I didn’t come to chipotle just to order mostly rice and little bit of the rest, that’s just an expensive bowl of rice.) and the gristle in the chicken is just too much. I understand it can be hard to keep the gristle out of the chicken at times and I keep that in mind, but most of the pieces of chicken I bit into had gristle in it and it also just wasn’t cooked enough. I keep having this exact same problem at every Chipotle I go to and honestly I’m SO tired of it. I’ve been going to Chipotle for about 15+ years now and I see the decline in not just service, but especially the quality. I understand that the employees are probably told to skimp out on the rest of the ingredients and you know, no fault at those employees, they’re just trying to follow orders the best they can. I do fault at whoever is telling them to do so. The sad result of this is is that you’re losing business this way if the CEOs and higher management teams even care at this point. I understand this happening every few times I go to eat at any Chipotle, but it’s happening 9 times out the 10 and I’m just really tired of it honestly. I don’t want a refund, I’m just going to spend my money elsewhere like maybe Moe’s burritos or a small restaurant business. Chipotle CEOs/quality management...
Read moreI got a to go burrito bowl here last night and it was horrible. The first red flag was no one was in line when I arrived. The only server was a guy in the back doing some food prep. I commented that I couldn’t believe there was no line. He said he was called in from another location to help with service for the evening. The meal prep line had food everywhere. My burrito was loaded with rice, lots of rice, a few pinto beans, some chicken, tomato and corn salsas. I love guacamole but the dispensing pan was empty so the server went into the back to bring out a “fresh” one. They stirred it up mixing in the oxidized old guacamole before scooping some onto my burrito and topped off with cheese, sour cream, and lettuce. I should have walked but it had been a long time since eating at a Chipotle. I asked for a lime wedge. No limes. How does a Chipotle not have limes? No limes. The server could have cared less. And no Tabasco!! I asked about no Tabasco and was told if there’s none at the self serve pop dispenser then we’re out of Tabasco too. “Do you have any in the back?” I asked. Without even offering to look they said “No.” I should have walked away. But by now I had already paid. And I keep my own bottle of green Tabasco at home. But I still should have walked away. I do not plan on eating here again. I hope other locations are not this terrible. Not what I expected for an $11.40 “fast food” meal from what used to be one of my favorite take out meals. Just drive on by this one. Sad. Sorry I didn’t think to take any photos of this mess. Really caught off guard by what used to be...
