I took my wife here for a date night, and we were both surprised at the quality of the food. With students working there we didn't expect much of the food or staff. To our surprise the food was excellent, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The prices are somewhat high, but gratuity is included in the prices, so it works out. The honey butter biscuits were excellent, I really enjoyed my Cesar salad. The kimchi fried rice was different than anything that I've had before, the kimchi gave the perfect acidic flavor. My wife enjoyed her soup and cheese burger. Our biggest surprise was the vanilla ice cream, it is made in house and it's excellent! It's very rich and the texture is something that dreams are made of. I recommend this restaurant if you're looking to try something new and support the Columbus State culinary students.

I went today with a colleague for a business lunch. Service was fantastic, though timing out of the kitchen was a bit rushed. However, given most business types are in a rush at lunch I didn’t think much of it. I had the seafood chowder soup of the day and the fish and chips. While the fingerling smashed potatoes weren’t technically chip, the whole dish was quite tasty. My colleague had the mushroom risotto and it was tasty too and not over salted - a refreshing change. It was busy at lunch but not noisy which I appreciated. I’ll definitely be back!

WHAT AN AMAZING RESTAURANT FOR LUNCH! 5 plus stars all around. We felt special from the second we hit the door. We we promptly greeted and seated (asked about our seating preference). Chef Reese stopped by our table to say hello and sent the delicious cauliflower appitizer to us! The waitress was well informed about the menu. We ordered the special, chicken and waffles which came with lightly pickeled carrots, zucchini, onions. (the chicken was seasoned to perfection and the freshly made blueberry sauce was a tasty pairing) and, the vegetarian burger with, it seemed fresh cut fries was perfect. With jazz softly playing, we ate, talked, laughed and enjoyed every bite. The ambiance is classy and comfortable, with large bright windows. We will be back for lunch again and for early dinner. This is a hidden gem owned by Cameron Mitchell in conjunction with Columbus State Community College Culinary School as...

Okay, so last semester I was going to Columbus State and I discovered this neatly kept, hidden away gem of excellence. I tried the fish tacos. Unfortunately this semester they did not have them on the menu. (I know! Womp, womp, womp!!!) But I found something else that'll take your appreciation for your taste buds to the next level!!! So I chose the Blackened Salmon Club. My oh my, was it delicious!!! I also had the french fries (delicious), the asparagus (fresh), and the house salad. All blew my expectations away. I love the way this restaurant sits on Cleveland avenue in Mitchell Hall very unexpected. Also the natural lighting just sets a unique ambience for not only dinner dates business means branches and lunches but also just a great stop in to get a drink. Extremely pleasant and helpful and informative staff wonderful smiles who do not hesitate to provide very hospitable accommodations....

I would like to say for future reference, when asking someone who has allergies, please make sure you are able to accommodate for that allergy. I was asked on today if I have any allergies, I said "I am allergic to shell foods". It was relayed back to me after I have ordered fish and chips, "the chef said that he cannot guarantee about the fish may or may not contain shell food". I was excited to try the fish and chips. Need I remind you that this is my first time coming here. It's highly disappointing I couldn't try the fish due to the cooks not wanting to change the oil. This is important, many people have allergies. Not showing accommodations for the allergies is poor customer service. I hope the students will learn a lesson out of this situation. I will try to come back again, I hope the students will be able to better...
