Posted that it was a Special Mother's day Brunch on the top floor however when We got there the Buffet was in the middle of the lobby while hotel guest were trying to check in and out of there hotel. Omelet bar was a hot, every thing there came out hot though the poor server didn't have enough spoons for each item and had to keep asking for more spoons to not cross contaminate between items. Everything else was severely subpar with only 5 other items to choose from and a salad bar which was make your own. The dessert was a choice of one of 3 a fruit salad and a cookie bar that had no taste and of course chocolate covered strawberries. They had drinks that were supposed to keep coming but my husband and I are still waiting for our refills. I had just an omelet due to food restrictions because the menu was changed from the website and I couldn't eat anything else due to that fact and when We asked why no one was notified that it had been changed from a brunch to a buffet,We were told to look at FB page for last minute changes. My husband kept asking for toast and was notified that there was no toast included in the buffet and only in brunch. Means to say We will NEVER Be going BACK to this Establishment!! Ever Again and We certainly will be telling all of our Friends and Family about our experience. We did hear from a Manager in reference to our complaint when the bill came at a whopping $165.00 plus a 18%gratuity and the manager said they had changed it last minute when my husband explained all of the hiccups and explained the bill We were then told "Well this is Columbus" I guess that is the excuse used for highway robbery these days! I would not recommend this place...

We stayed at the Hotel Indigo and were able to have a breakfast and a lunch at Denim & Oak.

The breakfast menu has a bit of everything. We had biscuits and gravy and the Georgia breakfast and both were fine, nothing special. However, the service was excellent; very friendly and attentive = lots of coffee refills. However, coffee is $4, so be sure to get a to-go cup!

The dinner menu also has a bit of everything. We went for Thursday Prime Rib Night at around 7:30 and they had already run out of prime rib. They were out of several items on the menu (bbq chicken, dirty rice, bread service, etc), which was disappointing. We had the meatloaf (with mashed potatoes instead of the dirty rice) and the petit filet. The meatloaf was excellent! Whatever the sauce is that they serve with it should be bottled and sold, it’s so good (kind of a sweet, sour, spicy Asian-inspired flavor?)! The filet was perfectly cooked and the fries had the best seasoning on them. The service was friendly, but slow and inattentive.

Neither breakfast or dinner were very crowded, so reservations aren’t necessary (unless they could save you a prime rib with a reservation?).

It’s good as a hotel restaurant, but the only thing we experienced that was worth a drive was...

If I could rate my experience today with zero stars, I would. We had the worst experience today at Denim & Oak Riverfront Restaurant by Hotel Indigo. My husband, my son and I went for brunch at 10:30 AM. There was a 10 minute wait before we were seated. After being seated, we placed out order immediately. We received our drinks shortly after. Other large parties came 30 minutes after we placed our order and received their food promptly. Our waitress never came back to check on us. After waiting for over an hour we never received our food! I had to ask the hostess to give us the check for our drinks and to cancel our order because I couldn't find the waitress. Then we had to wait another 15 minutes for the manager to void out our drinks in which we were willing to pay for so that we could just leave. The manager came out but never spoke to us directly. He only spoke to the hostess. Another waitress apologized and offered to cover the cost of what we ordered. However, we would have to wait additional time while the food was prepared after we had already waited over an hour to be served. Completely unacceptable. It was 12:10 PM when we left, hungry! Awful and poor service from...

The atmosphere was nice. Our service was kind of slow and it seemed like the back of the restaurant where the cooks were got mad because I asked for extra cheese because what they brought out the first time wasn’t enough so they just threw the cheese in a bowl instead of how it came out the first time all shredded and nice The second time it was just chunks of cheese and there was a couple two seats down for me, complaining about how long they food came out and how his food came out cold and even got colder with him waiting for his wife food to come out my dish was called the roasted chicken pasta But looking at it they just gave me chicken noodle soup. Basically my date had fried okra salad. It was pretty delicious. The dressing that they put on it made it very tasty even though we asked for chicken to come with the salad it came way later and my day was almost finished with the salad by the time it came out at least it was freshly cooked ,would I come back ?no a glass of wine not even a full glass was $40. Are they kidding? I would never come back.

My wife and I were excited to try a new restaurant in town. Not too good. The menu is small and was a bit overpriced. I'm guessing it's a weekly or monthly menu, but the restaurant won't survive with such little selection. I think the prices should match not only the food but the service. Service was pretty poor. I think it's because they are new, but there were four servers and it took us like 20 minutes to get our drink orders in. My wife had to go to the bar to get her wine. Anyway the portions are kind of small and the food was, in our opinion, really mediocre. $81 for a glass of wine, a salad, a starter, a tiny bowl of soup, and an entree. Would have been a great value if the food was good. But it was not. Probably won't try again for another 6 months to a year after they've worked out of the bugs if they've survived. Attached is a picture of the soup.
