I have come here 3 times now to do my Bible study and a little bit of work. MOST of the team at this coffee shop is truly something special. The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive. As a diabetic with several health complications, it can be hard to find a drink that fits my needs without sacrificing flavor—but these 2 young ladies took the time to listen, make thoughtful suggestions, and created a delicious drink that I’ll be coming back for again and again. Their knowledge and care made me feel truly seen. I also ordered the salmon bagel with no onions, which was unique and very tasty.
That said, I did have one disappointing interaction. I asked her name as I really was not happy. A staff member named Ansley rolled her eyes at me when my drink was incorrect, handed it off to another employee who willingly took over with a great attitude and made the changes necessary to ensure my drink was perfect. Ansley didn’t seem to be working with the same heart or energy as the rest of the team. She was on her phone and not speaking in the best manner loud enough for those around her to hear. As someone who has owned multiple successful businesses, I know how important it is that every employee reflects the mission and values of the brand—especially in a Christ-centered business.
Still, this one moment won’t keep me away. The rest of the team is shining brightly with warmth, service, and excellence. Thank you for bringing another great coffee shop to Columbus. God bless you all and your...
Read moreI went for the first time with a friend for a late breakfast brunch. I ordered a Hickory Turkey Panini and a caramel macchiato. I don’t like very sweet drinks - I usually only add a splash of milk to my coffee. The staff was very accommodating and offered to reduce the amount of pumps to only two (regular is 5 pumps). The taste of the caramel macchiato was great and the Panini as well. My friend ordered a salad that looked delicious and also an avocado toast for her 10 month old daughter. The staff offered to deconstruct it, so it would be easier for my friend to feed it to her daughter. My Panini came on an actual plate and I would welcome real coffee mugs instead of disposable cups which I personally am not a fan of. Overall, it was a cute, little, local coffee shop that I will return to. Keep in mind that parking upfront is not possible due to construction and it being very limited even if construction is completed. Parking is available for free at the Synovus parking garage nearly a...
Read moreI cannot say enough about the incredible experience we had. Morgan Bauer was an absolute angel. My son, who has autism, was overwhelmed and stimming—struggling in a way that usually makes outings incredibly challenging and embarrassing. In the middle of a busy rush, Morgan stepped away from the counter without hesitation, came around to us, and gently embraced my son down on his level. She calmed him with so much compassion, patience, and love—it brought me to tears. Then she hugged me like we had known each other forever and served us with the warmest smile.
The food (shoutout to Jessica—it was amazing!) was just as beautiful as the atmosphere: peaceful, clean, and filled with the love of Jesus in every detail. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart. It’s rare to find such a powerful reflection of Christ’s love in a business, and I’ll never...
