I used to really enjoy Graeter’s, but I’m very disappointed now. I ordered two scoops of ice cream in a cup at two different Columbus locations recently, and both times I was left unsatisfied.
The first was at the Westerville store, I received ice cream that was soft-serve or milkshake-like, which shouldn’t be the case. I let it go, thinking maybe it was just bad luck or a machine issue, and decided to avoid that shop for a while.
Then a couple of weeks ago, my partner and I went to the Polaris shop. Again, I was disappointed. I ordered two scoops, but my cup had lots of empty space and looked like just a little more than one scoop. Meanwhile, my partner’s cup and other customers’ servings looked normal and full.
I submitted feedback on Graeter’s website asking if there’s a standard size or weight for a scoop, but I never got a response. I guess I’ll just get another automated reply here too. I feel I was treated unfairly, paying the same price as everyone else but getting noticeably less.
No, I didn’t take a photo or save any proof, I never expected I’d be writing this review until they couldn’t answer a simple question. I’m NOT even asking for ANY compensation. I just want to know what the standard is, so if it happens again, I can politely bring it up to the staff. However...

Read moreThe worst experience I've had that I'm not a shamed to leave a comment. Went in and I was the only person inside waited a few then finally got acknowledge. There was 2 girls working. They seemed more in to taken care of drive thru. Watched 4 or 5 vechical go thru drive thru and I still hadn't got waited on. One of the girls asked what I wanted then went back to working drive thru with other girl. 2nd girl wanted me to pay and @ that point it's been a half an hour & still no milkshakes. I ordered a strawberry and vanilla milkshake both were supposed to be made with real flavor ice cream not plain ice cream w/ additive flavor. Both water down almost like I ordered milk w/ a spit of ice cream. No one to talk to bad experience in that...
Read moreI went to Graeter's Ice Cream for the first time at this location on July 24, 2016, and although I rarely take to the internet to write reviews, I absolutely wanted to recommend this shop! I have a severe nut allergy (I carry two epi-pens) and am not often able to eat ice cream out with my friends. I happened to speak to the assistant manager (I believe his name was Ryan), who immediately offered to open up two new bins of ice cream in order to give me a double scoop of whichever flavours I wanted. I ended up just getting the black raspberry chocolate chip, which was insanely delicious. The scoops are large, the ice cream tasty, and the service incredible - if you're looking for the perfect place to get ice cream,...
