First let me state I have been a customer of McAllister since 2017 when my daughter worked there as a cashier in high school and up until today I ve never had any issue with the food ,or customer service with the exception of them being out of food items and slight changes to the menu...My complaint is regarding the Veterans Parkway location in Columbus Ga. and the disgusting disrespect I received from the management on today's visit. I always order a choose two half club, half potato soup with bread bowl and the Ultimate nacho..I have ordered this for so long, the system will automatically ask if I would like to order the same thing by recognizing my phone number and I simply select yes, and arrive to p ick up my order..After arriving I paid for my order and proceeded to check my order..The Rotel cheese dip for my nachos was missing only the plain chili was in the container..the cashier asked the manager in the kitchen to give her the missing cheese for my order..The manager on duty was Jeff and another older white woman who said she runs the store..both managers begame combative and argumentative with me not believing I was missing anything from my bag which was still on the counter and visible, they were telling me it wasn't possible my cheese was missing, after 9 minutes of back and forth I was irate and asked for a refund of my complete $27.92 after in fact they realized I WAS TELLING THE TRUTH the DAMN CHEESE WAS MISSING I was offered no apology for their mistake of basically accusing me of trying to steal small cup of Rotel dip, after paying basically $30 Jeff the young male with Dreads didn't even know how to process the refund and continued to be combative and unprofessional making unnecessary rude and disrespectful comments towards me in front of customers in the lobby dining, the store manager who was the older woman came to the front with the most disgusting vile attitude I have ever experienced and joined the other manager to continue to berate and become confrontational about me simply asking for a refund and telling me I could stand there all day she didn't have to assist me ...This was completely unexecusable and unnecessary again in front of other customers...If I wasn't so angry I could have recorded...but I'm definitely making a corporate complaint....McAllister doesn't need two unprofessional, disrespectful, rude and disgusting individuals representing the company or...
Read moreOur first time in Columbus GA and we decided to try this place. We placed three takeout orders on their website which we also paid on the site as well a whopping $37.34. I get there to pick up our orders and I'm standing in line, I over hear the young female worker telling the "doordasher" that they are out of spring mix for the salads. So I'm like dang I ordered a salad. I immediately start looking for something else to order. As I get ti the counter my order is already prepared and ready to go. I grab my order and proceed to walk out, but something stopped me until I checked my order. I sat down and went through my entire three orders. We each ordered the half sandwich and soup, salad, and loaded potato as the other half of the order. All that was in my order was the sandwiches. I get back up to the counter and then she proceeds to tell me that they are out of soup, potatoes and the spring mix for the salad but she can make a salad with the sandwich lettuce, ummmmm, no ma'am. So I told her I don't want any of the food and that they have awful customer service because you should be telling all your customers when you are out of food instead fulfilling orders having people pay for the food just to get home and realize they have nothing they ordered. I HAVE YET TO GET MY REFUND BACK TO MY CREDIT CARD but it was processed the very same day. I will NEVER be back to McAlister's. I would appreciate if a manager would get in contact with me...
Read moreA mostly great experience with the employees of this McAlister's Deli location. Our food quality was great. I inhaled my chicken sandwich and sweet tea. I've been a consumer of this company's products since the mid-1990s in Mississippi. In most cases, food quality has never been an issue. The changes in the menu caused a casualty to my favorite menu item earlier this decade, the Pot Roast Potato with Brown Gravy. I wish that one would make it back to the menu, even if it was offered only one day per week.
Back to my visit, the only problem I had at this location was there were a few items missing which I ordered "on the side", which didn't make it into either one of the three bags I carried out, initially. Upon returning inside, my missing items had been bagged already and were waiting for me to pick up on the return trip. Great job there, but staff members, please be cognizant of the folks who don't check their orders before leaving the parking lot going about the rest of their day.
My advice... Please do a double check before giving the bag(s) of food items to the customer to ensure each item and request of the customer has been fulfilled before their departure.
Customers, please check your orders for accuracy in the...
