Ordered a smoothie at ~ 8:22 PM, for pick up at 8:45 PM. Arrived at 8:50 PM and the entire store was closed. Went out of my way a bit to stop here and it was a giant waste of time and of course money for something I didn’t get.
Then, the employee who decided to close early sees me parked in front of the store, pulls up, and yells out her car window ‘what am I doing?’ as if I’m scoping the place out to rob it or something. I explain I was about to make a call (not realizing yet she was a SK employee),and realize I should ask “who are you?”
She explains the obvious, not telling me yet who she is, but states SK is closed. I then explain it’s 8:50 PM not 9 PM and she goes “well, sorry I’m the one who closed it”. She continued to tell me to come back tomorrow. As if I have nothing better to do then come back the next day for something I came to eat now. I also don’t live in the area. This is customer service at its finest.
It’s one thing if you close early, but to not even bother to call the customer who clearly placed an order prior to closing, who drove out of their way to get there, etc. is pretty bad. But to top it off, you then yell at them through their car window, as if annoyed, to state the obvious (store is closed…as if I couldn’t tell by the lights being off and the door being locked).
Maybe call ahead next time to check if they are closing at 8:38 PM or whatever time they...
Read moremy friends and i are regulars at smoothie king, our orders are all the same. we order the angel food and add protein and peanut butter in it for an extra $3. we received one smoothie that was made correctly, when it’s correct it’s this light pink color.ours were dark pink, when we went back through the drive through to ask them for a refund because this has happened every single time i’ve been here for the last couple weeks. only because i’m paying $16.90 for two smoothies. the woman tries to gaslight us and tell us it was made correctly when it clearly wasn’t. then she takes the smoothies from us aggressively closes the window and throws them in the trash, and starts to remake them. i wanted a refund. we had to wait for a different woman to come back with the remade smoothies in order to ask for a refund since the window got slammed in our faces before we got the words out. apparently the womens name...

Not the young man’s fault that the place was busy and he couldn’t handle it, MGT needs to get him help if they don’t want to lose regulars.
Why do I have to wait longer because the drive in kept taking his time when I was here 15 min ahead of them??
The best part after waiting for 20 minutes ( while he made the drive in the priority ) upon completing my smoothie he realized it wasn’t enough to fill the cup, so he added crushed ice cubes to fill it. REALLY.
