I am not happy with this location and their service. Whoever they have on as managers and staff don't know what they are doing and tend to take too much time on preparing orders. I understand there may be low staff or it is busy on certain days but it is no excuse to make deliveries late for uber and DoorDash especially where it is a small order. My food has always came cold and I am not blaming the drivers because they were always fast. I have worked in so much food places and grocery stores where I have an understanding till a certain point. I had one driver give up my order because they took way too long to get the order ready and most places have rules in food places and grocery stores that UberEats and DoorDash is always first as long as you take care of the other customers too! This is ridiculous and whoever is running this place needs to be trained better or you need better staffing! This is very sad because five guys is a phantom gourmet spot to go and don't show it at all! They have gone downhill a lot along with their crazy prices for everything even before the pandemic! I am not gonna get mad at my drivers at all! You guys need to work more better with training and speed on things. I don't usually criticize places but this is far upsetting and ridiculous especially where I spend so much money on you guys along with other people! Why run a place if you can't run it at all?! You're the reason why I don't order that much anymore because you fail to get orders out and make things less friendly every time. The music is too loud also and I get you guys like to rock out to music but some people can't hear each other or hear workers call their orders. Very very...
Read moreThe burgers are excellent. You can’t beat them. But this location has yet to figure out the whole curbside pickup process. I pulled into a nearby parking space as instructed. Clicked “I’m here!” On the website. Then I waited. And waited. The guy in the car next to me was waiting, too. Finally we both walked in to see what was up.
The cashier saw me and immediately asked, “You have a curbside order? What’s the name?” then called it out to the crew. Then I waved some more. And some more. Then someone at the pickup counter asked me my name and they got the bag that had been sitting there on the shelf since I walked in.
As I was walking out they were bringing an order out to someone who had pulled up in front of the restaurant in the No Parking zone. Is that what we were supposed to do? Because that’s not what the website said.
If you don’t actually have curbside pickup, don’t offer it. Or put accurate instructions on the website. Next time I’ll just order pickup. Or...
Read moreKudos to the staff of the Concord Five Guys. In the post-pandemic world where staffing is tedious and restaurants are just lucky to have a crew large enough to keep the doors open, this restaurant was running like a well-oiled machine. I could almost believe it was 2019! The place was packed with customers, but the line was running like a top. The dining room was immaculate (and someone actually came out to—gasp—sweep the floors and wash the tables while we were there), and the counters were spotless. The staff had a tight system in place, and the food moved along quickly. The kid who took our order was incredibly polite. The food quality was perfect and well worth the $17 we paid for a little bacon cheeseburger, small fries and a small drink. Normally, I might complain about the price, but it was WELL worth it. Nice job and thank you for the reminder of what a quality fast food...
