A party of three waited for 20 minutes, which is what they told us which was fine. Sat down and drinks were ordered right away no problems. Ordered the guacamole as an appetizer and it was outstanding. I ordered à la carte one beef taco, one cheese enchilada, and one mixed potato quesadilla. Approximately 28 minutes later, the taco and enchilada arrived. The taco was substandard and semi cold, but I did eat it. I’ve bit into the enchilada and it was ice cold and I told the server it was cold. He was going to replace it, but then he informed me that they couldn’t cook me a quesadilla at Casamigos Mexican restaurant which I found very odd. I asked him to bring me two hot enchiladas. Approximately five minutes later, he appeared with two enchiladas and the plate was very warm to the touch however, biting into the first enchilada it was also cold and the beef was on the pinkish side. I told the server that the food was substandard and was unacceptable. The gentleman that came to the table with the enchilada, said I’m not your server you need to talk to them. Over the course of our visit there were three different gentlemen that waited on our table and not one of them ever said hello my name is such and such. I’m going to be your server so I had no idea who my server was. I asked to speak to the manager. I told him the food was rotten and cold and offered him to take a bite of the beef from inside of the enchilada which he said no to because he probably knew that the food was rotten himself. I told him I didn’t want to be comped anything or receive any gift cards for my misery and got up because I was not wanting to sit at the table any longer watching my two friends eat their semi cold food, but they were too shy to say anything about it to the manager. I went outside to smoke a cigarette and after deliberation, I went back in and spoke to the manager and told him that I was upset with what had happened this evening and he informed me he was not going to put a charge on the bill for the taco enchilada and the quesadilla. I had a Smoky margarita and then I had a frozen house Margarita which I drank half of and couldn’t finish because I was upset. I told the manager that I wouldn’t wanna be charged for the seven dollar house Margarita and he said he would adjust the bill accordingly. My experience at Casamigos was a rotten one and I will never frequent that establishment again. I have read good reviews on this website, but my experience with that restaurant was terrible and I told the manager and the waitstaff it wasn’t their fault that the kitchen staff certainly should know how to cook hamburger so it’s hot. If I was you I would go to El rodeo or margaritas never go...
Read moreI rarely take the time to post reviews but circumstances demand I must lol. Being from South Texas, in the name of science, I chose to test NH Mexican food. This place was close and open at 7pm on a Sunday, but was totally a random pick.
It's tucked away in a strip mall next to a Lowe's so parking was easy and adequate.
Inside it's three rows of high back booths that appeared to be roomy, one row of tables, and seating at a full bar.
The lighting is pleasant, and background music was not intrusive.
I sat at the bar as the place was packed and I was solo.
Was greeted, seated and waited on immediately. Every member of the bar and waitstaff was friendly ,efficient, and attentive.
I am extremely picky when it comes to the chips and salsa. The chips were the perfect fresh, warm, thin, crisp, and salted. The salsa was really good with enough heat that this Texas girl felt at home. I just ordered the house frozen margarita which was on special at that hour, and was very pleased.
Everyones food around me looked so good. The menu wasn't overwhelming, but had a great selection of traditional and more elevated dishes.
I went with the chicken, beef, and shrimp fajitas. I rarely order this any more as everything on the plate tastes the same and something is always over and undercooked for my taste, but this was not the case. The veggies were cooked but still had a crisp to them, and all the meats when tasted separately were uniquely seasoned, and the portions were definitely not skimpy! So happy. The beans and rice were average. I'm not sure if it's a regional thing or due to street tacos being so popular but the tortillas were small compared to what I've had, when asked how my meal was I said very good, but how ya supposed to fit all this food into those tortillas (pointing and smiling at all I had left) he brought me more! I hadn't asked and and wasn't charged. It made for a perfect late night snack .
I had been so craving a taste of home, and this place delivered. I wish I was closer as it would be my go to...
Read moreEverything at this place is amazing. The portions are huge, prices are low, staff is generally VERY attentive and friendly, the atmosphere is great, everything is very clean... I can't think of a single complaint about this place except maybe that sometimes when it's busy waiters can take a while to come by, but that's not really a complaint, more just something you should expect from a busy restaurant. When it's not busy, you can expect service at lightning speed. I'm pretty sure these guys can sense when you need something and just teleport over. The food always arrives very fast, even when they're packed, and it's some of the best around.
All the dishes are good, but I always gravitate back to the burrito chipotle. Just recently, my partner and I were on our way over to the restaurant and we were talking about how the only thing that could make this place any better was if they had quesabirria on the menu. We walk in and there's a poster on the wall saying "try our new quesabirria!" Seriously, there's some witchcraft or something going on in this restaurant. It's magical. Drinks are also very good and not overpriced. For two people we rarely pay more than $50 here, $30 without drinks, and we come probably around once a month at this point. Plus, free chips and salsa that actually taste fresh. You can't go wrong...
