Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Concord

Does the southwest chicken salad come with corn and beans?! Because we ordered online maybe 3 items, one being a southwest salad and multiple sauces. We got 1 or 2 sauces we didnt ask for and thats it. I thought okay it was alot of sauces to remember maybe they forgot. And then I check and then my wife checks the salad and its just chicken strips and lettuce. I asked the girl about the salad when I returned she said thats how it comes. I said well can I just order a southwest salad now assumming they just forgot. Didnt even ask for a refund. At this point the tall seemingly lefeless character steps in to assist and agrees to make me a southwest salad, I pay again! And now after standing around for an order I put in online to avoid this very thing he hands me salad number 2 and I asked for the dressing they forgot to give me for our southwest salad, she asked what dressing i said the one that comes with the salad i guess, she said i dont know there are alot of dressings, then by some miracle to my complete disbelief she pulls out a packet of dressing that says southwest salad dressing!!! I said yes that one. Headed out I got to the car decided to check it just in case and boom! He handed me the same chicken strips on lettuce. I take it back in and they are all in the back trash talking probably about how the corn and beans do go on a southwest salad but they are out and cant say that so they just make it with whatver they got and say thats how its made. The girl approached seemed very bothed by my presence. The tall and dull man who made the salad now reappears to see what the problem is, but couldnt say one word about why he made me the same salad when i made it clear i just want the same salad in the picture that comes with beans and corn and crispy chips but still he just stared at me. Needless to say im never eating jack in the box again. Absolutely criminal the way he tried to play dumb and make another salad out of spite just to prove there is no korn and beans. just say there are no corn and beans can I get you something else. My visit to Jack In The Box yesterday had to be one of my worst fast food experiences ever!

The location had guests both in the drive through and the dining area, but they were far from 'busy', yet none of the staff could seem to figure out how to do their job!

There were three cars in the drive through and five taken tables in the dining area with one man and then my group of three waiting for our orders to be taken, meanwhile the employees were unable to even handle such a small group of patrons.

We stood in line for just under 20 minutes without so much as a greeting, more less our order taken.

The girl at the register kept looking around confused and then would wander up to the 'window' to get the food from the grill and then pick up the sandwich and try to figure out what burger it was by what was in it since she kept missing the name being called by the cook.

The girl working the fryer seemed to be in her own world and just kept looking up at the order screen blankly.. I do not mean for a moment either, i mean 2-3 minutes at a time trying to figure out what was going on..

All in all, we ended up getting fed up and just walking out after 20 minutes or so with no order taken, no apology that they were running behind, not even a hello..

The food did not look that appealing, maybe a 5-6 out of 10.

The place wasn't that clean looking, but not necessarily 'dirty' either, maybe a 6-7 out of 10, it could really have used a good mopping and wipedown of all the greasy film on things.

The staff and their training was the absolute biggest letdown..

This was my first and likely last time ever frequenting this establishment. If you like a gamble, then maybe this JIB is for you, but if you prefer to know what to expect when ypu walk in the door for a meal,...

So went to this jack in the box twice on saturday 6/28, (we dont have one near us so we always hit this one when in town/heading home) we went once in the afternoon on our way to the event around 4 p.m we literally waited in line from 405 p.m until 428. I know this because I texted my friends about it. Besides the long wait in line our food was really good. So later on back to the hotel we got in line at 2:55 a.m 6/29 no one took our order after the car in front of us pulled off until 3:03 a.m, finally when I said to my boyfriend lets just back out and go to cookout a voice barely came over the speaker practically whispering to take our order. They kept rushing us to order. We satt in line from 3:03 to 3:45 a.m. there were four cars in front of us. My boyfriend had time to walk over to the 711 get us some snacks and we ate those snacks before we even got up to the window. Almost half our waiting came from when we paid. They appeared to not even start our order until we paid and once we paid we waited at least 15 minutes to get our food. We could hear them laughing, having a grand old time. We were so exxhausted I almost debated driving off. But we spent 40$. My boneless wings were cold. Not even fresh. The 2 chicken tater melts we ordered had no bacon or cheese sauce. I have a picture but google wont let me post it with this review. Should have checked before we pulled off. Probably will find other jack in the boxes from here on out. So rediculous after waiting 45 mins. Probably should go back to...
